From the Sony Pictures Studios, it's America's Game!
WHEEL OF FORTUNE
PLAY TO WIN SWEEPSTAKES - WEEK 1
EPISODE #2849
Here are today's contestants!
Michele Smith is from Great Falls, MT. She's married with two boys (David & Zachary). She's a customer service representative who enjoys bowling and helping out with the Special Olympics.
Bill Blankenship is from Mount Gilead, OH. He's married to Laura and has two daughters (Andrea & Greta). He's a remodeler for the world's coolest remodeler. He performs in a old-time medicine show in Chesterville, OH, and shows his selling skills.
Emily Rice is from Los Angeles, CA. She's married and also has two children (Sarah is almost 2, and stepson Aaron who's almost 8). She's getting her Master's in social work at UCLA. She also helps her husband in his photography business.
Emily owes TOMMY LEE JONES a huge thank you; not only does she have $300, but she also has this SURPRISE: a Caribbean cruise worth $8,575!
Round 2 adds tickets to the Die Hard 500 at Talladega Super Speedway and a couple jackets worth $2,500!
...yet it's still labelled on the wheel as SEARS, because we must drill the sponsor into your head!
Emily knows her Shakespeare: she recites NEITHER A BORROWER NOR A LENDER BE from Hamlet $2,450!
Michele might hate the JUGGLING ACT OF CONGRESS, but at least she has $600.
IT WAS A TOTAL FLUKE that Michele took the lead, but she's the one with $15,550, so I doubt she's complaining.
DING-DING! DING-DING!
It's mathematically impossible for $250 ┬ to change who wins, but it's still real cash.
Bill: R (x2 - $500)
Emily: N (DUD!)
Michele: T ($250)
Bill: C ($750)
Better late than never, as Bill solves CARPORT for $750
Because everything's been won this week, only two things are left for Michele to win: a sailboat and $25,000 cash. In addition, a bonus round win brings her back to the Friday Finals, no matter what.

RSTLN E... give two letters.
CPM I gives only the I, but in an interesting place...
Michele guesses FIREHOSE, FIREPUMP, FIRETRAIN, FIRETRUCK, FIREPUMP, FIRENOW, FIREENGINE, and FIREWOMAN, but won't be burning FIREWOOD with a SAILBOAT. Although she retires today, $16,150 in cash is a great night's total.
Pat Chat: Pat and Vanna go through all the remotes they've been to this season, first Ohio, then Denver, then Vegas, and then later, in Houston. Pat also plugs the Friday Finals.
