From the Sony Pictures Studio, it's America's Game!
WHEEL OF FORTUNE
APRIL IN PARIS
EPISODE #3071
Here are today's contestants!
Roger Liss is from Bethel Park, PA. His stepson is fluent in French, and he has six kids between Jan, his wife, and himself. He's a businessman of several businesses, and in his free time, he referees high school soccer.
Shonda Heldreth is from Oklahoma City, OK. She's married with three children. She's a retired dental hygienist. Her husband is Kirk, also known as gospel Elvis, who impersonates Elvis, but only sings gospel music. She was once gonged on The Gong Show, while doing a comedy magical act. She got gonged by Jamie Farr and Mary Hart.
Todd Verdi is from New Britain, CT. He's married with two children (Zachary & Hunter), and is married to Heather. He's a fifth grade teacher, and also runs inner city after school programs.
Shonda might not be a MARATHON RUNNER, but she has $1,750. Now, can she solve this Puzzler for $3,000 more?
Shonda just can't cross the FINISH LINE.
Round 2 adds an ENTERTAINMENT package: a Panasonic portable DVD player, and a Panasonic 51" TV worth $3,100!
STUDY -FITTED AS A FLASH all help Roger win $11,350 in cash! For $2,000 more, can he fill in the blank?
Yeah, he's QUICK to the draw.
Jackpot is here. However, it's in the incorrect spot. It's placed where the second bankrupt is supposed to be, and vice versa. Also, a trip to ORLANDO: a stay in the Wyndham Palace Resort & Spa in the Walt Disney World Resort sounds real nice. $4,400 nice. Also included are tickets, spa treatments, and food.
Roger can enjoy $4,250 IN ALPHABETICA ORDER OF ONION RINGS.
They leave the second bankrupt where it is, so the green $500 is out of play this fourth round, and the tan $300 is here. It doesn't help that Pat decides to vacuum the wheel to clean it.
Also, a null cycle happens before the first aired wedge landed on happens.
DING-DING! DING-DING!
It's that time again! Vowels are free, but consonants... $400 ($550) ┌.
Shonda: M (DUD!)
Todd: H ($400)
Todd has $400 when he solves HAIR CARE, but because of the house minimum, Wheel will give him another $100.
It's a new week, so Roger can win any of these five prizes:
A 1999 Saab 9-3 convertible worth over $40,000!
A trip to Paris in April worth over $15,000!
A Volvo worth almost $38,000!
A tour of France worth about $16,000!
...and the $25,000!
W H E E L
Roger picks L for "love"... he has to specify for his wife, not Pat, though.
RSTLN E gives one letter a word....
FCD O adds two more letters into the mix.
Roger tries FOR, and then FUR AND JADE, until finally searching FAR AND WIDE, he can teach his wife to understand the $25,000 that's inside! Jen is happy! $42,600 in all! (It's just cash and me!)
Pat Chat: Pat predicts they'll give away the $25,000 three times. He also predicted that his talk show would be on the air for 15 years, so...
