Rob was so excited about winning $3,150, HE DID THE MONSTER MASH.
Round 2 adds the Jackpot along with a trip to Furnace Creek in DEATH VALLEY worth $3,140!
Karent stumbles with the first word, but then says THE DEBUT OF THE DAYTIME DRAMA THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS. The stammering seemed to cause her to say THE again, or some other short word, because Pat calls it an "A", but that's ruled incorrect.
Klara is more careful and says THE DEBUT OF DAYTIME DRAMA THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS for $1,800.
To celebrate 7,000 shows, celebrity guests Peter Bergman, Doug Davidson, and Melody Thomas Scott come out and talk about themselves.
Round 3 adds another prize: a Meade LX200 TELESCOPE worth $4,995!
Rob can be CARVING A JACK-O'-LANTERN with $7,700!
Ding!
Karent finally gets on the board with $1,000 to put in a PICTURE FRAME.
DING-DING! DING-DING!
Looks like time is running out. Vowels are worth nothing, but consonants... $300 ┐ + $1,000 = $1,300.
Karent: S (DUD!)
Klara: N (DUD!)
Rob: R ($1,300)
Karent: T (DUD!)
Klara: L ($1,300)
Klara goes for a quick solve with LUXEMBOURG for $1,300.
Rob can now try to win...
A 2001 Volkswagen Jetta and a trip to Germany, including Munich and Heidelberg, worth over $32,000!
A 2001 Chevy S10 Extreme worth over $19,000!
A 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder Convertible worth over $24,000!
A Toyota Rav4 4-door SUV worth over $20,000!
...and $25,000 cash!
W H E E L
This week, instead of dings, when a contestant takes an envelope, a halloween-esque noise plays. This time, it's a screech of a cat.
RSTLN E gives two letters...
CDM A gives a vowel...
Rob immediately says HAIRPIN and claims a MITSUBISHI SPYDER with a 2.4-liter engine and semi-automatic sport chronic auto shifter. It's worth $24,842!
Rob walks away with $36,692 cash and prizes, and is surprised that this brother-in-law didn't come on down.
Pat Chat: Pat's still reeling from the fact Rob got HAIRPIN. Vanna says it was an amazing solve, and Pat says there's more Halloween shenanigans coming around.
