Nothing much to note other than Paper Plates. Jacob was a decent player otherwise.

R4: Surprised it didn't get solved earlier (I had that from the T's).

BR: I also needed the CDMA to get it.

The bonus puzzle definitely got much easier with the M, A, and C up, even without the P.

Yet again, another good game this week.

Another weird and funny Triple Toss Up. I actually thought PAPER PLATES for the second one because it fit but I knew there was no way it was that. I actually got PAPER TOWELS when Tatum rang in.

Round 4 was ironic to me because I heard that Katy Perry song on the way to class this morning.

I thought the second word was HATCHES. When I saw Jacob's face after his letters were revealed, I paused my TV to figure it out before he solved because I had nothing and I could tell he already knew it. I still failed to get it. I couldn't believe he knew it when I had nothing. I also can't believe I blanked on that puzzle.

It's been a good week in the main games but not in bonus land but hey, the shutout has been erased.

Although this one was Phrase and not Song Title, they used lyrics from Firework in a Song Lyrics puzzle earlier this season, so the writers have a thing for Katy Perry this season it looks like.

Jacob was a hoot. His repeat of the first Triple Toss-Up in the second had me rolling. 😂 Tatum’s numerous spins in R2 made me as nervous as Pat, but it worked out for her.

Unlike the previous three BRs (which I solved with RSTLNE), I solved this one as soon as Jacob started picking his letters. Good thing he didn’t need the P’s to win $40K!

By the way, I’ve always wondered how key lime pie tastes.
