After Christine called the V just before solving in round 2, I was quite curious why she decided to spin since I assumed she knew the puzzle calling the V and she had the trip in hand.

44 letters in Round 1 if I counted the unused spaces correctly. I got the answer before I was preempted on the PVR, and I missed Round 2.

Overall, it was a much better main game.

This time, I needed the extra letters to get the bonus puzzle. Close to a buzzer beater, but it's a solve nonetheless.

Devin may have finished in a very distant third place due to some hard luck with the Wheel, but he made quite an impression with the two Toss-Ups he solved.

And yes, I was indeed able to RSTLNE the Bonus Round puzzle. Now even though tonight may have not seen a $100,000 win in the Bonus Round, we still had an XL-sized total giveaway of $100,350, and since today is my birthday, I am very pleased to see that the total cracked the $100,000 mark and that everyone got a piece of that big pie (or cake for that matter) tonight. This is undoubtedly one of the best episodes of Wheel to air on my birthday.

Now that’s what I call a quick turnaround – despite her late dud in Round 2, Amanda cleaned up! I figured she’d solve her Bonus Round puzzle with her perfect letter choices. 👏🏾

Matter of fact, I enjoyed watching this episode thanks to all three contestants. They were fast puzzle solvers (in Devin and Amanda’s case), great sports, and fun to watch. But I was rolling at Devin’s tissue moments, especially him giving a hankie to Pat. 😂

The only thing that would’ve made this episode even better was a $6K Final Spin.

Okay, I took a quick look, and I think that Round 1 is in fact the biggest puzzle in the Million-Dollar Wedge era at 44 letters (even if punctuation were counted, and this puzzle has none). Longest one since the only "What Are We Making?" puzzle from Season 25. However, I assume there's an automated method for counting the overall number of characters in each puzzle that aren't spaces.

Definitely the opposite quality from last episode. As Pat mentioned, all three players were quite smart (despite Amanda's R2 dud) given how fast these Toss-Up solves were. I'm also glad R1's lengthy size made for some big money (even though it's a stupid puzzle).

R4: Dang, we're in a $5K final spin drought and Devin almost had it...

BR: RSTLNEd it. Amanda definitely had me worried when the timer started ticking.
