Boy, am I pretty peeved about this one!

To think just 96 hours we set the dubious record of the most expensive PP in show history. Surely it wouldn’t be broken again in the same week? Think again!

My eyes nearly bulged out of their sockets when Jim read the ARP. Absolutely inane move to have one $18,000+ PP during the week, let alone two. The PP deciding the game is nothing new, but when it inflates the scores this much? Forget it. Especially when there’s a nearly $8k deficit between the goodie wedge and the trips to Aruba, you create such an issue of unfairness that it’s despicable.

Usually a 100 win wipes away any of the negative stuff we encountered in the frontgame, but thanks to some undeserving winners and a lack of confetti, I can’t help but walk away from this frustrated. Seemed like more of a technical issue then a policy change (I wouldn’t be shocked if it’s the same machine they’ve been using since they started the bonus wheel), but it really sucked the energy out of this one.

I expected this week to be Grand Getaways 2.0 and aside from Liz I would say this was far worse. Winnings aren’t everything people!

$18K+ PP again? All this week, it was already obvious which team would move on to the BR with that humongous prize value.

Two days after I commented about how wrong the episode was, that $100K win caught me by surprise. I thought we would never see a $100K win, let alone on a Friday. Had the $100K being won two days ago, the confetti machine would've worked or maybe it was under maintenance during that taping week.

That BR win reminded me of the first $100K win in Season 38. Pat & Vanna should've thrown a 'mini confetti' for them as well. At least the end chat was funny when Pat wrote a letter to the confetti machine company that their machine stinks. Just like Pat writing a letter to the confetti machine company, I would also like to write a letter to myself to stop making bold predictions like the first $100K win of Season 41 would only happen in 2024.

Two months into the season, four $100K hits. Guess the contestants have the luck of landing on that envelope this season, but in terms of puzzle solving, I hope to see more contestants doing what Liz did in the BR. Talk it out, think about the logic behind the puzzle. In my opinion, most of the BR puzzles this week require a bit of a logic (E.g., EXCHANGING VOWS, DRIZZLED HONEY, A JUICY BURGER).

This season is gradually becoming a show that may not be suitable for the faint hearted because of the grand prize appearances.

Red played horrible and giftwrapped R2-3 to yellow. That was a pretty solid solve for a 100 win, pretty shocked at the negativity here.

That was a pretty good solve for 100, but pretty easy if you know how to play the adjective game with Wheel.

Yay, a $100,000 win! So soon after a $100k loss too. That was not an easy one for them either, I was afraid they weren't going to get JUICY.

I was able to RSTLNE tonight's Bonus Puzzle, and although there was no confetti, I'm just happy to know that Pat's final season won't go without a $100K win. This is what happens when you talk it out.

Now one of the things I noticed was that it was quite the blue week for the blue podium until tonight. Monday thru Thursday saw the blue teams finish with no more than $2000 (one $1000 Toss-Up, one Triple Toss-Up, and two goose eggs), but tonight's blue team broke through in a big way. Despite finishing in second place and with only one puzzle solve, that puzzle solve was still worth over $15,000. Couple all this with third place finishing with nearly $10,000, and you have a week ending on a truly wonderful note, just the way I like it to end!

Elizah and Justin caught a lucky break in Round 2, and Quentin and Marc finished strong (I was hoping they’d finish in five figures). Interesting that they allowed best friends on a family week.

Per the usual, the super-pricey Prize Puzzle trip (even for team week standards) mattered for the champs to win. Good thing Valerie and Tom talked out their Bonus Round and won $100K! 👏🏾

Believe it or not, all this week’s winning duos chose my first Bonus Round category choice.
