I'm putting this up now as a placeholder because I'm going out to the Blue Jays home opener tonight, and as a result, I will not have time to do a recap this evening. If Prizes could fill in the information when appropriate, it would be much appreciated.
Prizes' Edit: Recap will be up tomorrow, I had to be at the theater tonight, so I missed the show tonight. I'll watch rashad's channel, and I'll recap it from there.
Round 3: WHY DO FOOLS FALL IN LOVE? (Song Lyrics; Prize Puzzle) Thanks to getting 4 Ls on the $3,500 space, followed by an H on that same space later in the round, Mona banks $20,850 cash this round as well as a trip to Cancun valued at $5,400 for a total of $26,250 this round!
$3,000 Toss Up: NOBODY'S FOOL (Person) Paul solved this one.
Round 4: WON'T GET FOOLED AGAIN (Song Title; full speed up round for $6,000 per consonant!) Alana solved this one for $18,000. Unfortunately, even though her final score is over $20,000 it is NOT enough to win.
Bonus Round: COMPUTER KEYBOARD (Thing) Mona failed to solve this one, resulting in her losing out on $50,000. Still, her final score of $28,250 is nothing to be ashamed of.
Fun facts: All of the puzzles this episode, save for the bonus round, had the word "fool" in them. As well, the final tally of cash and prizes given away in Vegas this year is an impressive $1,499,664! And this without the million being won too!
Phew, glad the recap for this episode is up! I thought it would never appear here!
This was a pretty good Vegas finale! And IMO, the writers intended to have the word FOOL in most of the puzzles and air them on this day. I wasn't too pleased when none of the players realized the word FOOL is showing up in all of the maingame.
-R1 and R2: Both of these round's weren't too exciting...
-R3: ...but what a great round for Mona! Cashing in twice on $3,500 sure helped her a lot!
-R4: I got this one with no letters showing! Great second-place total for Alana!
-Bonus Round: I got this one with RSTLNE. It's no guarantee that you would win even if you do call letters that make the puzzle and all appear in one word. Sadly, that was the case for Mona, and too bad about that $50K loss. Thankfully it wasn't the big one.
