Nighttime Wheel Recap: 10/12/2007

Another episode of one of the two greatest Seasons of WoF is now here to be recapped!

One month into Season 25 and it's Made in the USA Week which tossups were probably made in the USA, so here we go.

Erica starts us off by solving MY COUNRY 'TIS OF THEE.

Err... not quite, but it's still a great trip and it's valued at $5,394! It's also the $10,000 round, where the golden $10,000 third is surrounded by two Bankrupt thirds. But there's no 25 wedge this round since... where would you put it? We're getting a visit from a rare category, it's Landmark.



Manny won the right to start, so he's off and running, but he's dudding also with an S on $450. Right after that, Erica hit Bankrupt to lose absolutely nothing but her turn. Justina gives us some suspense and a good time...

It's Jackpot time and its sponsor is the dreaded Activ-On... apply directly to the mute button. The 25 wedge is now on the wheel and so is $3,500, which is the top dollar! Now, enjoy a Before & After puzzle.



Erica starts Round 2 and starts it with a dud, T on the pink $900. Justina puts up a few letters, but unfortunately buys a bad O. Manny gets a trio of consonants up before calling a dud G on the red $300. Back to Erica, who calls another dud, a D on the Free Spin. Justina goes on a shopping spree, buying the four other vowels for help, dropping her down to $2,250. She then calls an L that's not there. Manny lands on the 25 wedge and is able to pick it up with a B, what he gets is... 25 months worth of filet mignon from Omaha steaks valued at $2,500!



After he picks that up, he attempts to solve, but his guess wasn't so good, BUYER CAR INSUANCE. After that lousy attempt, Erica goes for the rest of the consonants...



She solves BUMPER CAR INSURANCE for $600 which is bumped to the house minimum of $1,000 and the Wild Card!

The mystery wedges are also here, which can be worth $10,000 or Bankrupt. Very big round and the puzzle is Things and this round just got even bigger by the Call of the Prize Puzzle!



Justina is the starter of Round 3 and she starts with Lose a Turn. Manny does some spinning and some buying and some Bankrupting after putting up a quartet of letters. Over to Erica, that does a little work before hitting the mystery wedge on the green $500. She calls the Ls and wants to risk $2,650 to take a look... she reveals the $10,000! Erica lands on the other mystery wedge and calls the N, but then hands Pat the Wild Card and puts the G up. After all of that though, she buys a dud U. Justina is in control...



After putting up the B and P, she solves GENTLE TROPICAL BREEZES for $1,300, but she's also going to Belize! This trip is from VacationCompare.Com and it is a $5,000 value!
