It's Heroes Week on Wheel of Fortune and Wheel has traveled to New York!

Another episode of this terrific season is now being recapped and they chose the right place to do Heroes Week too! Now, take a look down there for the first tossup.

Three heroes all doing good for New York and hopefully all of them will win big, but for now, let's focus on the upcoming $2,000 tossup.

Today's trip on the wheel is a trip to Laguna Beach, Florida and the winner of this trip will get to see the Festival of Arts! Total value: $6,450. In order to play, a puzzle is needed, and this is a good category to start things off. In the Kitchen is the category.



John has earned he right to start Round 1 and he does by putting up the S. But then he duds with a T on the blue $300. Anthony puts up four letters before passing his turn to Monica since he called a bad L on the Free Spin. Right after that, Monica & John hit Bankrupt back to back, the latter losing $450 he got from the S. Anthony puts up a ton of more letters...



He'd be using a CARVING KNIFE & SERVING FORK on an expensive meal since he solved that for $5,850!

Time for Round 2, the Jackpot round, sponsored by Swanson Broth, claiming to be good in taste. There's also a $3,500 wedge on the wheel and a second Bankrupt to the right (where it's supposed to be) of it. The category for the Jackpot round is Food & Drink and it's also a Trip Puzzle!



A lot of letters in this puzzle, surely a lot of money to be won and Anthony gets to start this round. He puts up three consonants that appear three times before buying FIVE As. Then his next spin hits $3,500 and he calls THREE Ls and he picks up the Wild Card with an M right after! After he buys the Os...



...he'll be eating some OLD-FASHIONED SPAGHETTI AND MEATBALLS in Florence, Italy! That trip is worth $5,500 and he also has $15,700 in cash from that solve, as well as the Wild Card!

While it sure as heck seems like a runaway, it isn't, since there's a $10,000 mystery wedge on the wheel, the $3,500 wedge, and the Big Money Wedge, which may be worth up to $25,000 at one time! Now here's the Round 3 puzzle, it's Before & After.



Monica starts this big round and gets S, N, and A up there before dudding with an L on $400. John calls the Rs and hits Bankrupt right after that. Over to Anthony, but he hits the same Bankrupt, so he has to give Pat the Wild Card. Shortly after, Monica lands on the mystery wedge over the blue $500 and gets two Ds in the puzzle. She takes the $4,400 and doesn't gamble it, which wasn't such a good move. Next, Monica buys the E and picks up the Laguna Beach trip with a Q! One more buy and spin...



She solves MADISON SQUARE GARDEN HOSE for $4,500 and the trip!

Everyone won a large amount today, but Anthony won the largest, so he's in the Bonus Round! The least he can win is $25,000 and at most, maybe even $100,000! Now he must spin the Bonus Wheel...



...and he lands on the W. Anthony has to solve a hyphenated Phrase to win what the envelope contains.

..and his help is very limited. But it might be enough, can he do it?



No, Anthony can't figure this one out and his only guess right before the buzzer, WAIST-BAND, wasn't correct either. He missed out on a high amount too, the $45,000. Although, he has won $30,050 cash and prizes without even winning the Bonus Round, so that's quite an achievement!
