SHOW BIZ
La Jewel will get to take her first turn now, and she finds a quadruple N on $700! Based on the placement of an N, she decides the next logical moves are the G (a pair) and buying the I (four). She does a lot of work and amasses $4,250 which will sit and wait with her because she hits the old LOSE A TURN. Kerrie will finaly touch the wheel, and boy is she ever happy of that fact - her first spin is a pair of $2,500 S's! She buys the last vowel (an O) before calling our first dud of the game - no M, so $4,750 also sits and waits on the outcome of Christopher's turn. He'll put up all the remaining letters (although he comes within one peg of a Lose a Turn himself):
A W A R D -
W I N N I N G
R E C O R D I N G
A R T I S T S
SHOW BIZ
and reads off AWARD-WINNING RECORDING ARTISTS for another $3,200!
Sole Dud: M (Kerrie)
Lose a Turn: La Jewel
Christopher: $6,050
La Jewel: unlucky spinner
Kerrie: dud picker
As hometown heroes Boyz II Men come out and lead us into the break, we'll set up for the next round...
ROUND 3 - JACKPOT ROUND:
The Toaster Breaks Jackpot is active this round, and we add a second wheel prize:
a Kon-Tiki trip to Canada worth $5,450!

BEFORE & AFTER
Kerrie will try to make up for that bad late dud in the last round. She puts up a $700 T but then uses that money to buy the bad A. Christopher makes a very nice spin of $900, but even nicer - he finds SEVEN R's for $6,300! He buys a single E and half a dozen O's before spinning once more for a pair of M's. Now he's had enough...
_ O R M _ T O R _
R O O M / _ O R
E R R O R
BEFORE & AFTER
and he's got all the money - another $6,600 from solving DORMITORY ROOM FOR ERROR!
Sole Dud: A (Kerrie)
Unclaimed Jackpot: $7,000
Christopher: $12,650
La Jewel: gooseegg alert
Kerrie: gooseegg alert

_ _ _ _ _ _ _
THING
We still have some time left, and that time belongs to Christopher, who will start with his old pal the orange $900 and two R's. He'll buy the E, then get in the neighborhood of $5,000, but there are no T's for $300 or any other amount. La Jewel finally gets her second turn of the night, and she gets a $300 N before asking for the bad S. Kerrie hits $700 for a pair of C's, but that spin has used up the last of our time. Going into speedup, we have this setup:
_ _ C R _ _ _ _ E
_ _ _ C _ R N
THING
Pat spins his best spin, but it overshoots the big money and lands on $600. Kerrie puts up an M but has no guess, leaving Christopher wide open to get the pair of P's and solve:
M _ C R _ _ _ _ E
P _ P C _ R N
THING
and a bag of MICROWAVE POPCORN seals the shutout for him with $2,750 this round!
Duds (pre-speedup): T (Christopher), S (La Jewel)
Christopher: $15,400 cash
La Jewel: GOOSEEGG'D
Kerrie: GOOSEEGG'D
