Well, this is it. The last episode of Season 7 I'll be recapping. Enjoy!
----------------------------------------
It's almost time for the Finale, but we may give away over...
...in cash and prizes on the second to last episode of Season 7... on Wheel of Fortune! And now, let's see who will be playing.
Kathleen Keikomono: A computer programmer.
Yvette Camatchen: Studying towards becoming a nurse.
Lynn Scholdeiner: Won $7,350 on the last episode, ready to play again.
Now that you know who's going to compete, here we go.
Free Spin Location: $400
Much better than to put it on $700.
There's a not so sparkly $1,000 on the wheel and it's the top dollar for Round 1 and if you look, the wheel's all cash. We're beginning today with Family!
Kathleen's the lucky draw winner, so she'll be spinning first and she spins up the red $400 for a couple Ns. She makes a close call with Bankrupt and cashes in on $750 with a triple D! Then A is bought, completing the first word. She spins once more and hits that $1,000 wedge for zero Ts. Yvette takes her first spin and uncovers two Rs, but no Ls. Lynn can't do any better with G on $750, so we go to Kathleen. She puts up a pair of Ys for $350 and purchases a couple Es as well. After the J and Ks get called...
Kathleen identifies these brothers of DICK AND JERRY VAN DYKE for $4,550!
Kathleen: $4,550
Yvette:
Lynn:
Bankrupts: 0
Lose a Turns: 0
Duds: 3 (Kathleen - T - $2,800), (Yvette - L - $1,000), (Lynn - G - $0)
Missolves: 0
Top Dollar Hits: 1
Prize #1 on the Wheel: Whirlitzer offers a piano valued at a high-balling $7,315! That's a PIANO wedge.
Now glitter is in, $2,500 is the top dollar value for Round 2 and the next puzzle is... Thing.
Yvette will start Round 2 and she begins by calling a dud T on $750. Over to Lynn and she puts up an R for $500, but an S for a lost turn. Kathleen calls every letter of the -ING ending, a trio of Ns, a single G and four Is, these Is completing the third word. Then she puts up two Ds for $1,400 more and an M on $450. She purchases the A & O and spins twice for P and K, K being the last consonant...
Kathleen might be able to buy a DIAMOND PINKIE RING with her additional $3,250.
Kathleen: $7,800
Yvette:
Lynn:
Bankrupts: 0
Lose a Turns: 0
Duds: 2 (Yvette - T - $0), (Lynn - S - $500)
Missolves: 0
Top Dollar Hits: 0
So far, Kathleen's been dominating the whole game but $3,500 is here to try and spread more money around. Now we're going into wordplay via Before & After and this puzzle's a hyphenated one.
Lynn will be starting this time and she puts up a T for $500, but is interrupted by Lose a Turn. Back over to Kathleen, she makes a perfect rotation and that brings her to Bankrupt. Yvette puts up a triple N and then a G, but probably not where she thought it was. Then for $500, she'll get a bunch of Es and a couple Is. She spins again and lands on a certain $3,500 for an S! Yvette completes the vowel department with O and calls the $800 D right after. She hits the red variant of $500 next, but duds with a C. Lynn uncovers the L and Rs...
Now Lynn's on the board with FIRE-ENGINE RED SKELTON, she's won $2,500.
Kathleen: $7,800
Yvette:
Lynn: $2,500
Bankrupts: 1 (Kathleen - $0)
Lose a Turns: 1 (Lynn - $500)
Duds: 1 (Yvette - C - $4,650)
Missolves: 0
Top Dollar Hits: 1
$1,000 Hits: 0
Prize on Wheel #2: This time, it's a work of art worth $8,900! That prize wedge is labeled ART.
Now we've got a $5,000 wedge arriving, but we also have Phrase arriving as category. I'll point out the hyphen in the puzzle as well.
Every player has started one round, so we're going back to Kathleen. She calls the R for $900 and then her pointer clings onto the art! She attempts to pick the art up, but is having trouble, so Pat picks it up and Kathleen calls the P for $300 under it. She spins again and hits that big $1,500 for the S! Next comes a purchase of a quadruple E and then a dud... T on the blue $500. Yvette hits three big ones ($600, the yellow $900 & $700) for a trio of Ns, plus an H and D...
Yvette also gets on the board by solving HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE for $3,400!
Kathleen: $7,800
Yvette: $3,400
Lynn: $2,500
Bankrupts: 0
Lose a Turns: 0
Duds: 1 (Kathleen - T - $2,450 + Art)

$1,500 Hits: 1
We've got time for a fifth round, which means that we also have a fifth category & puzzle - Place.
We go to Yvette for the beginning of the round, but she LATs her turn away quickly. Now it's Lynn's turn and she puts up N, T, S, and R which are all singles. Then she purchases the one E and spins once more, but to lose $1,050 to Bankrupt. Kathleen calls a bad M on the pink $350 and that depletes all of the time!
Pat will now give the wheel one last spin.
Kathleen:
Yvette:
Lynn:
Final Spin Result:
BANKRUPT
Well now, looks like the players aren't going to be cashing in today! ...No, we can't do that, Pat just has to give the wheel another spin.
Second Final Spin Result:
BANKRUPT
Err... perfect rotation fail? I guess he'll have to spin it again.
Third Final Spin Result:
BANKRUPT
Again?! Maybe Vanna should spin it.
Fourth Final Spin Result:
$5,000
I think that's a redemption spin! Vowels are free, but consonants aren't, they are $5,000 a piece!
Now here comes the Speedup table!
Lynn solves APPLIANCE STORE for $10,000 and the victory!
Kathleen: $7,800
Yvette: $3,400
Lynn: $12,500
Bankrupts: 1 (Lynn $1,050)
Lose a Turns: 1 (Yvette - $0)
Duds: 1 (Kathleen - M - $0)
Missolves: 0
Top Dollar Hits: 1
$1,500 Hits: 0
High Maingame Winnings: $23,700
Lynn's back here again with $19,850 in cash at the moment and now she'll try it again for more. We've got the right three cards remaining.
Lynn chooses the L... as in Lynn. L could stand for Lot of Money ...or loss. Let's see if either happens, hopefully a win, with a Person, which demands a hyphen.
E will be revealed as well as any of RSTLN.
Not that bad of a start, four letters revealed. It doesn't hurt to get more help, however, so Lynn tries DBMO, a combo of CDMA & BGHO...
...which isn't offering any help. It doesn't look like it, but it may be able to be solved...
Lynn can't solve this puzzle, PICKLE-PUSS was the solution and now let's see what she missed out on...

VACATION

A driving vacation, which I don't get how driving can be a relaxing vacation. There's always a golf caddy, but Lynn couldn't have it. She does have $19,850 in cash and she will be returning on the Season 7 Finale to try it again! I've got the recap of the episode up, so if you haven't seen it, I direct you to here.
