It's America's Game, now from Sony Pictures Studios! Let's meet our three contestants for this episode.
Steve Monk: He's our returning champion who has won twice and won big - $61,050 in cash & prizes!
Bob Halder: A physician.
Tracy Anderson: A mortgage broker.
Now that we've met the contestants, we'll see how they play and see them win.
There's a sparkly wedge on the wheel for the first round, it's the newly glitterized $1,000 and it's the top dollar. These contestants will play for cash & Surprise, now here's the first puzzle, it is a Phrase. Apostrophe included.
Steve's the lucky draw winner, but his first spin is not-so lucky, it's Lose a Turn. We go to Bob now and his first spin of the day lands on the pink $250 where he'll find a triple T. Next, he calls the S & hits a good $800 for a couple Rs. The first purchase of the day is made with four Es and then Bob glides into $1,000! He lights up the H and after one more buy & spin...
Bob says I THINK I'VE CREATED A MONSTER, but he actually created an early lead with $4,000!
Steve:
Bob: $4,000
Tracy:
Bankrupts: 0
Lose a Turns: 1 (Steve - $0)
Duds: 0
Missolves: 0
Top Dollar Hits: 1
Prize #1 on the Wheel: A vacation to Disney Land valued at $2,188. That prize wedge has DISNEYLAND on it.
Now the prize is on the wheel and so is the Surprise along with the Free Spin, but something else has been added too. It's called Double Play and if you don't know how it works, look it up. Same Name's the category for this round and an ampersand's in it, like usual.
Bob will begin this round, but like Round 1, a penalty is hit on the first spin, this one being Bankrupt. So we go to Tracy now and she lights up one T for $200. Then she spins again and hits one of $200's neighboring wedges which is the top dollar! She calls an R... and that one is worth $2,500. She spins once more and lands on the purple $400 to find a dud H. Steve takes his second spin and it's even worse than Lose a Turn, the Bankrupt. Back to Bob and he calls the double N before purchasing a dud I. Tracy can't do any better with an S, so we're back to Steve. He puts up a $250 L and spends all of it on an E, which appears zero times. Bob calls the C and calls a bad V after. Tracy gets a $700 P in the puzzle...
Tracy solves PANAMA & ROOT CANAL for $3,400!
Steve:
Bob: $4,000
Tracy: $3,400
Bankrupts: 2 (Steve - $0) (Bob - $0)
Lose a Turns: 0
Duds: 5 (Steve - E - $0), (Bob (2) - I, V - $350, $550), (Tracy (2) - H, S - both with $2,700)
Missolves: 0
Top Dollar Hits: 1
Now the template has been upgraded and $3,500 is the top dollar value, also on the wheel is everything from Round 2 minus that Free Spin. Before & After is giving us some wordplay for this round.
Tracy will start this round and she immediately picks up the Surprise with a T! Then she uncovers NRE, along with a pair of completing the second word. Her next spin clings right onto the top dollar where she will find two Ls! Next comes an I buy followed by a $900 J. However, after all that... she BANKRUPTS away $9,750 and the Surprise! That means we go to Steve and he cashes in on $3,500 via Y! Taking a seventh out of it, he cleans out the vowels (O & U) and spins again to uncover a Q on the yellow $900. He's gambling and it pays off nicely with a $900 S...
Steve's on the board and in the lead with JOLLY GREEN GIANT SQUID!
Steve: $4,800
Bob: $4,000
Tracy: $3,400

Prize on Wheel #2: We're roaming onto San Francisco for what appears to be a cooking lesson or food tasting tour. Either way, that's a treat valued at $4,095! It's marked that location's name, San Francisco.
All of that cardboard (minus the Bankrupted Surprise) is still out there and a new top dollar has joined the party, the silvery $5,000 wedge! Place is the category and an apostrophe is going in there as well.
Steve will begin Round 4 and he does it exactly like last time - Lose a Turn. Now we see Bob spin and he makes close contact with the $10,000 slice, but it glides past it onto Bankrupt. Tracy tries to get some back and she gets $800 worth of Ss, but no Double Play with a dud T. Steve also duds with a bad N on the red $250, so we're back to Bob. He makes contact with the $10,000 wedge again... but the wedge BARELY clings onto Bankrupt! Tracy hits $400 again and for a trio of Rs...
Right after that, the bells clang and Pat's spinning!
Steve:
Bob:
Tracy: $2,000
Final Spin Result:
$500
Bob isn't the only one making close contact, Pat's just one peg away from $5,000! But... vowels aren't any value and consonants are $500.
Close game, anyone can steal a win, but let's see who.
Steve solves GROCER'S DAIRY CASE for $500 and the win!
Steve: $5,300
Bob: $4,000
Tracy: $3,400
Bankrupts: 2 (Bob (2) - both with $0)
Lose a Turns: 1 (Steve - $0)
Duds: 7 (Steve (3) - N, K, B - all with $0), (Bob - M - $500), (Tracy (2) - T, P, Repeat N - $800, $3,000, $3,000)

$1,500 Hits: 0
$10,000 Wedge Hits: 2
Low-Medium Maingame Winnings: $12,700
Steve's won $5,300 in cash today, but that's less than a tenth of his $66,350 in cash and prizes so far! Now he'll play the Bonus Round for one of five prizes, all in five cards.
Steve grabs the H card and hands it over, in exchange for that he gets a Place.
The appearances of RSTLNE are wanted, now they're found.
Again, a lot of letters to start! He's going with some interesting choices for "help", CVGA...
I'll be shocked if he doesn't get this, and...
Very quickly, Steve identifies VILLAGE and that means he'll be adding this to his final total...

SHOPPING SPREE

It's a Beverly Hills Shopping Spree, where Steve will take a $5,000 gift certificate to five stores on Rodeo Drive! That brngs his final total after three days to $87,416 in cash & prizes and with that, he's an undefeated champion!
Steve Monk: He's our returning champion who has won twice and won big - $61,050 in cash & prizes!

Tracy Anderson: A mortgage broker.
