I went to go see MIB3 and was surprised to see Wheel of Fortune in one scene of the film. During chat yesterday, we discussed where else WOF was seen. I figured it would be cool to learn where else the show was seen. It doesn't have to be movies, it can be TV too.

Rain Man had a scene where Raymond at the hotel turns on the TV, tunes to Wheel of Fortune, and starts reciting the opening spiel. That's probably all else I could think of for now.

Open season had the bear watch WOF in the beginning of the movie. There was also a WOF game in the DVD. Don't remember the rules or gameplay though.

It was in the 1995 movie Angel Baby. From watching the show, the character Kate gets a message from her guardian angel "Astral." I know I've seen it in other films, but I can't remember where. I will post when/if I remember. As far as TV: - It has been parodied on MadTV, Sesame Street, South Park, SNL (I think), So Random, and Shake it Up (only heard, never seen).
- There is an episode of 227 called "Wheel of Misfortune" where Sandra, Mary, and another one of their neighbors play against each other on the show. It has Jack Clark, Pat, & Vanna playing themselves. It's hilarious!
- Of course, there's the Full House episode called "The Test" where Vanna guest stars as herself. Scenes from Wheel are seen in the episode though I think they were made just for that show and not actual episodes. You do hear the HQ 1992-1994 theme in that episode, too.
- One of the characters on Friends was seen watching Wheel possibly in 1996.
- There is a 2001 episode of The King of Queens where Doug dreams he, Arthur, and Carrie are on Wheel of Fortune.
There are more I know. When I remember or find them, I will post.

I had a list of these, compiled from elsewhere: * Back to the Future II (1989) showed it in the 80s Cafe. * Lethal Weapon 2 (1989): Possibly a few minutes of Wheel on TV in a hotel scene. * Arachnophobia (1990): One character says he always takes the phone off the hook during the show. It shows several seconds of Wheel on his TV. * The Craft (1996): The four girls hanging out in Campbell's room; one watches Wheel on the TV. * Ransom (1996) had a brief clip on a TV. * A Friends episode (late 1996) where Wheel was shown, specifically with the pastel category strips. This thread from the Game Show Forum has more, including Identity, Erin Brockovitch, and What Makes a Family? Thanks to YouTube, I also know that Beverly Hills Cop II had a snippet: "POINTER SISTERS LIVE HERE. SHH! OUT BACK. THANK YOU, AND WELCOME TO WHEEL OF FORTUNE. I THOUGHT I JUST HEARD JACK SAY... HEY! WATCH OUT. THE DECK'S VERY SLIPPERY. THERE'S BEER IN ..." Slightly relevant: I've been told that Spies Like Us showed a clip of the 1983 Jeopardy! pilot.

I remember watching a Wheel of Fortune-centered episode of The A-Team on YouTube. I think the name of the episode in question is also Wheel of Fortune, but I'd have to see if I can find it again to check.

Let's not forget an episode of "Gimme a Break" where Nell and Addy were contestants on Wheel of Fortune, a "friends day" episode, only to win a trip to New York City. In fact, here's a clip of the show. www.youtube.com/watch?v=u9p7pfunRuU

I could only think of one other TV moment where they had a reference to Wheel.
On Everybody Loves Raymond, Debra and Ray were talking about him possibly working at home instead of at that workplace (which seems like Heaven to Ray). While they're talking, one of Ray's friends is watching Wheel and he gets the puzzle quickly. About half a minute later, the friend can't believe the contestant can't figure it out. The puzzle was something along the lines of IT'S NOT OVER UNTIL THE FAT LADY SINGS.

Mrs. Wolowitz of The Big Bang Theory has a particular affinity for Wheel.

I think it was also referrenced in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. Not sure which one though.

It was loosely referenced on the kids show Arthur. When they had to go a week without TV, Brain see "Eel of Fortune" through a window while looking out with his telescope.

I did see MIB 3 a couple of weeks ago (it was a good movie) and I did notice WOF on a TV background when J visit the a store, it only show the puzzleboard. After it was solved, it gong straight to a news, so there no Pat, a wheel, or contestants showing on TV.
But speaking the TV, I spotted some wheel references on Nickelodeon show "Hey Arnold." Some scenes has Big Bob watching "The Wheel." I also heard the category cue plays on the episode "Big Bob's Crisis" where Helga turn on a TV to get her dad attention.
Also I spotted a wheel reference on Alf episode "It Isn't Easy... Bein Green" where Alf was watching Wheel on TV. She made a joke about Vanna standing sideway.

I think it was also referrenced in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. Not sure which one though. You're thinking of the first TMNT movie when the Turtles are fighting the Foot Clan at April's place.

I also believe Wheel of Fortune was quickly shown in an episode of Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

Bumping here.
90s WOF makes an appearance in the Robert DeNiro film "The Family". There is a scene where 2 guys, looks like they are in prison, receive someone's thumb and use it to compare fingerprints. Vague description, I know, but I only caught a glimpse of the film and was lucky enough to catch it.

I remember the homeless shelter scene in the movie Scrooged (starring Bill Murray) showing a short clip of Wheel (a late 80s sunburst-era clip showing a close up of the $5000 space) airing on the TV in the shelter. I do not recall the movie ever crediting this, however.

I did remember that The Simpsons briefly showed Wheel Of Fortune with Pat Sajak in an episode which Bart got Edna K. fired.

It was shown in another Simpsons episode Brother From the Same Planet. I think that's the title. It was the one where Bart decided to join the Big Brothers program by getting adopted by another father (Homer angered Bart by forgetting to pick him up one day). The WOF scene shown there was Vanna at the puzzle board-I think the puzzle was PICK UP BART. Maggie then burped Bart.
