I guess these go in this section since there is one fantasy Wheel involved. Here is my recreation of the 1975 premiere opening: And here is an updated one with my custom Round 1 Wheel: Credit goes to wheelgenius for both logos and the 1975 wheel, and Mario for making my custom wheel. Nope...this is actually considered fanart. Wheel layouts are just those.

I recently discovered the name of the font used for the production slates, credits, and (for the first few months) category strips during Season 14: "Triplex" Here's a category strip I made demonstrating the font. I love how the ampersand looks here... And here's the blank strip: And here's my recreation of a slate from a Pheonix episode:

Wow, that is fantastic. Now, I see a red wedge where purple would normally be with another red wedge just two spaces counterclockwise. Is it really red? I'm just curious.

I had a feeling of why you did it. I know it's similar to the Wheel used when the category was introduced at the time as well as the Wheels making up the zeroes in 3000 in the end credits of Wheel's 3000th syndicated episode.

A few contributions I've just completed... All of these are nighttime. Ah, the good 'ol days! The 1983 opening Wheel shot. The great wheel color change of '86. And, the '88-'89 opening wheel shot (sadly, the last one we'd see in nighttime...) Credit goes to wheelgenius for the wheels and the chyrons.

This may be an unusual request but can somebody try and re-create the wheel chryon from the category bar in season 14(eg. when the category is revealed, you saw the wheel spin the category across)? I hope I am making sense when I am typing this, thanks to whomever who does it.

So, since I needed a new trash can for my bedroom anyway (because my old wicker one is falling apart), I decided to make it a bit more...festive. I printed out wheelgenius's vector on sticker paper and carefully cut out the letters using both scissors and a blade. Am I the only one who thinks the show could do well by selling these in novelty shops? There's not enough Wheel merchandise out in the open these days... Oh, and let's take a look inside...Huh? Where'd all this come from? And yes, this was inspired by that trash can backstage at Studio 33

You must have seen that photo on Golden-Road.net. Neat idea for your new trash can.

^Wouldn't be surprised if that was a leftover from Wheel's time in Television City...but why is it red? Back to Mario's can ( ), I was wondering what those crumpled-up papers were in there -- turns out, they're $1 bills. "I HATE DAYTI-" Shut. Up. Please. (Also, do I spot a Free Spin token in your trash can, or is it just...well, the bottom of the trash can?)

Because it came from the hardware/janitorial store that color?
