I'm learning Autocad in school. Had to do a tracing & hatching activity (which would be our signature for when we submit work):

Ugh... I hated autocad. It was the easiest class I ever took in high school but it just didn't sit well with me. Nice looking vector though

I have a challenge for anybody who is willing to accept it. Although it probably isn't much of one. Anyway, I have a logo idea to put on a poster for the game night I'm hosting this Saturday. What I'm seeing in my head is the two tier logo (the HQ woffan2008 posted) overlapping the wheel (preferably the layout used in the banner) but wheel is tilted like the logo Mario posted a while back. The idea is that it's almost like the wheel is coming at you with the wedges in back (towards the top) are smaller than the wedges in the front (going towards the bottom). I hope all that makes sense.

Something like this?

Almost. I wanted the logo just to be in front of it not laying down on it, no tilt effects or anything of that nature. Oh and the silver trim around the wheel too. I guess I forgot to mention that so it kinda looks like you're looking out onto the wheel. I hope that clarifies things.

That looks good to but you're getting warmer. The logo should be moved up onto the wheel as it is. Could you get the wheel maybe a bit flatter too? Sorry if I'm being a PITA.

Logo fully onto the wheel, or half on-half off?
If you want the whole thing onto the wheel, where do you want it aligned and how big?

It should be completely on the wheel but the logo should be wide enough that it's hanging off the left and right side just a little bit. I guess if it's going to be like that the 5K should be at the bottom. We're gonna get through this haha This is kinda what I'm imagining. www.ew.com/ew/gallery/0,,20239622_20541280,00.html

Maybe a blend of this one and the last one. The wheel is a bit too flat. The logo takes up too much of the wheel.

Woah! What did you do to get the trim like that? That's pretty much how I wanted it. If you could put that on the second draft you did with the logo centered on the wheel and slightly hanging off the edges it would be perfect.

The original program I was using kept crashing, so I decided to redo everything in Powerpoint.
