I have wanted to make my own wheel for awhile, and with the help of you guys, I have finally got a start on it. The only thing is though when it printed out, it was only able to be 22 wedges, not 24. Wheel w/ no add-ons: Round 1: Round 2/3: Round 4+: Credits: MarioGS - Wild Card, Number wedges SuperKingT - MDW, Mystery Wedges and Jackpot Wedge wheelgenius - Free Play, 2500, 3500 and 5000 Due to time and resources, i don't have any prize wedges or gift tags yet. Eventually I would like to make it spinnable

Although you were only able to make it 22 wedges, not bad. I see you got the blue $750 too. ;D

22 wedges? Hmm. Hey, if you'd like, I'll make some wheels styled like Denmark's version (Lykkehjulet) for you. Their version had 22 wedges.

Here's a new set I've been tooling around with. Basically, it's the 3-template system from the early 90's recolored in the current scheme (where possible) and adding modern gameplay elements (Jackpot Round, Mystery Round, $10,000 "Oreo" wedge) plus one new wrinkle (the Credit Card - see note below). It's essentially a "what-if" set intended for a revival of the daytime Wheel. CREDITS:> Mysterywedge: Credit Card tag (concept) > Realdeo: Credit Card tag (execution) > MarioGS: $750, orange $400, blue & green $250's, purple $500 > Wheelgenius: all other wedges/layouts (as far as I know) Note regarding the Credit Card: As per Kori's original idea, the credit limit is $1,000. But in my little dream world, vowels are $500, so the Credit Card essentially gives you two free vowels. Feel free to make any suggestions or comments you can think of!

So the Credit Card can be used for vowels only?

As far I know, yes, that is the case (what else is there to buy, after all?). However, Mysterywedge would be the one to ask as he is the originator of the Credit Card concept.

WOW, Scott! Those wheels are great! Although I do have a suggestion. I think you should make the $700 in Round 4 orange since there's only one other orange wedge on the wheel. Other than that, fantastic! As for Dayo, the rules of the Credit Card wedge are simple. You have to land on the Credit Card, call a letter, and if it's in the puzzle, you get to pick it up. With that, you can purchase up to $1,000 of vowels. However, there are several ways to lose the Credit Card. - Land on Bankrupt. - Buying a bad vowel. (irresponsible shopping) - Reaching the Credit Limit. And if you los the Credit Card, it will be put back on the wheel with $1,000 on it in the next round.

Thanks, Kori, for both the props and the explanation! As for the coloration, I'm sort of passing the tan $900 (and the tan $200 in the first two rounds) off as orange. It seems though that the tan $200 came off a little darker than the $900 did, and my spare tan $900 had a white backing to it that I wasn't able to crop out.

I think I am ready to share my wheel templates with you guys. I will only show you what I have made recently. This template is version 1, this is my signature wheel. I've also made different versions of the same wheel, but that will have to wait. I use Adobe Flash to make the wheel, and Photoshop to add text.

That template looks AMAZING. Are you using shadowing behind the numbers?

That template looks AMAZING. Are you using shadowing behind the numbers? Yes I am using shadow effects for the numbers; however, the shadows I made aren't in a 3D effect. Right Now, I am working on a real 3D effect just like Wheelgenius.

Well I completed my wheel a little over a week ago and I would like to thank everyone who helped out like MarioGS and wheelgenius. Here is what's hopefully a link to my FB photos of the process: www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10150801974965553&set=a.10150801969740553.729299.733860552&type=1&theaterThe only thing I need to do now is create a bonus wheel so if someone could post the bonus round wheel (individual sections would be amazing) I could finish it. Our first event on campus for this is most likely going to be this Saturday so if anybody can get the wheel posted before Saturday morning I would be very very grateful. That's it for now hope everyone enjoys the pics!!!

Looking good, thiswheel! I can tell that you've put a fair bit of time and effort into making this look sharp. If you've got the same level of planning in the rest of your event as you have with the wheel, it should go over great.

Buried somewhere in this thread, I posted both the Bonus Wheel layout (it was made as one piece, so I don't have individual wedges), and the Bonus Round envelopes.
I can't see the pictures, though. Would it be too much trouble to post them to tinypic or imgur?

Well, it's been a few days since I got all the parts together, but I finally managed to assemble my new layout. This is my first set that actually does something new as opposed to just editing the current wheels, so I hope you all like it. CREDITS:>SuperKingT: Free Play wedge and other font wizardry >Wheelgenius: Base layout, $600, $1500, $2000, both $2500s, $3500, Jackpot, Mystery, MDW, PRIZE. >MarioGS: All other wedges/tags (as far as I know) NOTES:> First of all, this layout came out nice and symmetric somehow. Wasn't intentional, but it doesn't look too bad either IMO. > Minimum value on the wheel is $250 (to avoid a glut of $300s). Plus, all values appear at most twice. > Also, $700 LIVES! ;D > MDW covers the second Bankrupt - I'm not a big fan of having 3 Bankrupts on a wheel. > If you look at my earlier layouts, I had a "second top dollar" space with values of 1000/1500/2000/2500. I used that same idea here, but made it 1250 in Round 1 so I could put 1000s elsewhere. > The other thing about having a pair of 1000s on the wheel: you know where the Mystery wedges go. > Gift tag? What's that? Sorry to the gift tag fans, there just wasn't room for it out there. > Top dollar is $5000 in R3 and $7500 in R4, because that seems like the next step from what we have now. I tried to make something new here, but also stay as realistic as I could - that is, to make something that we wouldn't necessarily see today but might be possible a few seasons down the line. Feel free to make comments and suggestions and I'll do my best to respond to them. Also, if you feel like you might want to use this layout for a netgame or any other purpose, go right ahead, but make sure you give credit to King, Genius, and Mario for all of the artwork they created that went into these pieces.

These are modified versions of the 1996 wheel set - see below for a full list of changes. First, though I need to give proper credit for Wheelgenius for all graphics used in these constructions. CHANGES MADE (moving counterclockwise from the permanent Bankrupt):> Tan $250 increased to $500 > Pink $250 #1 increased to $750 > Orange $250 covered by Surprise/Prize #2 > Tan $300 changed to blue > Pink $250 #3 changed to blue > Surprise location (Yellow $400 #2) converted to $750/1000/1250/1500 depending on round Without further ado, here they are! As usual, feel free to use these, but make sure that you credit Wheelgenius for his graphics work if you do.

Very nice on those wheels. But I not sure about another yellow $400 on the wheel(covered by Surprise/Prize), that really close to the same exact space.

Under the Surprise is still an orange $250 - the only difference is that it will be covered by prizes most of the game.

Round 1: Round 2: Round 3: Round 4: But, I have since then made some slight changes. There would be no $450 after the Bankrupt. I would put one of the 1/2-$500s (an orange one) there and the green $700 would be back where it should have never been removed from. The Wild Card would have a pink $1100 wedge underneath it. The Prize wedge would have the purple $550 underneath it. Mario, I would use your mystery wedges. I love the concept and the color. And, there would be no vault wedge and the $7500 would be gold. Basically, the color scheme would be almost the same as the current wheel but the dollar amounts would be different.
