You don't by any chance remember what value was on the red Wheel wedge they put in place of the Jackpot, do you? Secret Santa is two weeks (starting 11/19), taping today and tomorrow. Still not December, still done for November Sweeps, still recycling last season's theme weeks because they're still too lazy to get actual prizes and unshackle their puzzle writers. What WayoshiM meant by "6th" was that the America's Game shows are always the 6th shows to tape at every taping day. I thought they taped them first some days. |

Crap. 4 years ago I think Boston was still using the CBS sub-affiliate and we were very lucky. I think a 6th week during this probable madness was an intentional move then.

Would be a smart thing to do: In 2008 they had a weird split-week thing going on - started Wheel Across America for Monday and Election Tuesday (which was pre-empted), then switched to three weeks in Hawaii starting that Wednesday, and finally picked up the rest of Across America at the end of November. Much easier to just have an AG week.

WOF is moving to the FOX affiliate in my area this season after nearly 30 years on ABC2 (thanks Let's Ask America), if that isn't preempted, I'll record it (I have no clue if FOX puts up FOX News coverage on the network). |

OK, never mind. I was thinking of 00:25 in the video regarding the entrance thing, but it's actually a break since the board shows a puzzle. What is "the chant" exactly? "WHEEL! OF! FORTUNE!" EDIT: Another observation. At the 00:48 mark, you can tell that they have sped up the "swivel" animation for the scores and they now only flip around once or twice instead of the 4-or-so times from before. Another welcome change. Now the changing scores won't seem so obnoixous. (Are they seriously reading these boards?) |
