I've found a post-game article on the blue team and I've added in their last names to the recap. Click HERE to read it.

I didn't get to watch the premiere when it first aired, but my neighbor taped it for me, so I just finished watching it awhile ago. I was surprised because I was under the impression that all the new changes (1/2, Mystery moved to R2, and so on) were happening right now, and not later. Overall, it was a fairly average show. I love the new opening! I was sad when they used different openings each week last season. I think Jim will be a nice fit to the show (although I still wish they would have picked Rich Fields). I was surprised that they didn't make a huge deal about it being a new season. Usually Pat makes reference to it quite a bit on the 1st show. The sister team was my favorite; I think they played the best. Too bad they didn't win. I solved all the puzzle fairly quickly tonight; they were pretty easy, especially the BR. I can't believe they missed it! I hope the following shows this week are much better than this on. I give a 5/10.
EDIT: Andy, just a note, the yellow is quite hard to read on the new background, so I edited it and made it Goldenrod. I find it much easier to read as I am sure the others to do, as well.

Ah yes, I used orange to mark players in the yellow position while doing the work on the Sony Boards. I think goldenrod's a great choice with the new background so I'll use that or also orange. Thanks for the edit, Dylan.

Nicky, by "single-template wheel system" I mean having the same basic wheel layout throughout the show. Conversely, what was used prior to 1996 (where the wheel changed for R3, and then again for R4) is usually called something like a 3-template system (although I've also heard the number 2.5 used on occasion). Do you mean that in the 72 pegs on the wheel, each wedge other than the $10,000 (and now the MDW) didn't cover three pegs each? Also, don't forget that Halloween Week was taped before this week, so it may not have the 1/2 Car tags either, if Wayoshi is correct. But there've been a lot of times that episodes have taped since certain features' debuts that didn't have them. For instance, I seem to remember that when the Wild Card debuted on 10/23/06, the November 20 - 24 week taped with the Wild Card, but then the October 9 - 13 week taped without it, as did the 6th show taping of that week on October 18. And a lot of the time around the time of the WC's debut, they've replaced the Jackpot wedge, and in sixth show tapings of old Jackpot wedge weeks, they had the new. And also, remember the new musics for the Tossup, Speedup (which sadly didn't last), and BR debuted on 2/5/07, probably one of the few midseason changes since 6th show tapings began. All 6th show tapings of the pre-2/5/07 weeks had the new musics, not the old. And also, it's not like when this week taped, they didn't have the 1/2 CAR and Mystery Round move, since otherwise, they'd still have the $700 with the WC on it instead of $900. Also one other complaint -- they never once in the premiere acknowledged that it was Season 29! In all season premieres, they have to make clear what season it is, and I always love Pat's comments when he makes that realization. And also, there was no enthusiasm about it being the new season. Yes, Pat's Kardashian joke was funny, and I was laughing with the audience just as hard, if not harder, when I heard it. But when he mentioned that it was the new season, he said it very calmly, as if the fact that it was the new season was no big deal, rather than with more excitement that there's another season. There's no reason why he couldn't have made the Kardashian joke and still had that enthusiasm. Especially since it's a milestone anniversary season, he has to make up for that next season! Now off to watch tonight's episode that's DVRing. Let's hope for a better episode (maybe a mention of the 1/2 CAR still to come? Because there was with the Jackpot the week before it debuted), and more excitement about them having reached Season 29, and acknowledging that it is Season 29! Let's really hope here!

No, Nicky... What I mean is that pre-1996 they would use one wheel template for Rounds 1 and 2, change to a completely different layout for Round 3, and then change half the wheel for Round 4. Post-1996, they use the same template for the whole show and just swap out wedges as needed. If you're still confused, watch some old episodes on YouTube and you'll see what I mean.
Anyway, this is getting off-topic, and I apologize, but I wanted to clear that up.
