Whoa, what did happen to the Wild Card? Maybe Lindsay accidentally knocked it over and never noticed? I don't see any sudden throws in spin strengths, and if the WC was lost to an unaired Bankrupt, it would have been on the ledge by Pat. *snip* R4: Why did Lindsay call the U at the end of all things? Did it not come to her until just after she called it? Wild card was taken away by Pat-- didn't realize I could keep it (nerves!) Last round my nerves got the best of me hence the "U" Still fun. Right now this is sounding like Wheel took advantage of Lindsay on her flub. I really really hope that isn't the case. Yeah I didn't realize I could keep it. Pat motioned to take it so I just gave it up. Trimmed excessive quoting.

Welcome, Lindsay. Thanks for your input, and congratulations! Why would Pat do something like that? I can definitely see you sort of slide the card towards him as he says something to Reggie, then he turns his head and takes it. He didn't actually ask you to give it to him before you moved it over to him, did he? Either way, even though it didn't end up mattering for you, this was a major S&P violation, and I'm quite shocked that the show managed to get away with it even with that "lawyer" that observes everything during the taping.

A) Pat's growing old on us...
B) Did no stage production seriously notice?

What, the same guy who missed this? I guess if it doesn't affect the game, it's okay? B) Did no stage production seriously notice? I think the better question is whether anybody cared, since it was an error in the show's favor.

I couldn't remember what had happened there so I was trying to piece things together but obviously you would be the one to know Did it air in your area?

Thanks! I also saw it says I go to PSU... which I definitely do not You know I'm not sure why he did take it back. He had looked at me and motioned at the card so I just gave it up. Being on tv was a little nervewracking so remembering the rules of the game-- and guessing consonants instead of vowels went out the window I'm glad you cleared that up... I couldn't remember what had happened there so I was trying to piece things together but obviously you would be the one to know True It didn't air election night, but I worked with a programmer to get it rescheduled for another night. Consecutive posts merged.

For those of you wondering what a "full nelson" is...it's a type of wrestling hold. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nelson_hold#Full_nelsonAnyway, that aside, Kate, congrats on the big win! My grandma likes to predict what's inside the bonus envelope when the contestant spins for the BR, and suffice it to say she was very surprised when the $50K turned up! Gives this potential S31 contestant some inspiration!

Thank you!!! I was surprised, too. Knowing that so many of the envelopes have $30k, $30k is what was running through my mind when I solved - thus the absolute shock when I saw $50,000.

Hi, Kate. I had wondered if I actually saw the original airing of your episode, but I quickly realized I hadn't because I know I would have remembered all of that "nervous-turned-excited" energy in your victory dances! Congrats on the trip and nice chunk of change in the Bonus Round! You were clearly ecstatic...and probably still are! That was a fun episode to watch. I love the GIFs, and those are some great promo pictures, too. I'm glad your experience was an enjoyable one.

Thank you!!! I'm definitely one of those people who gets bouncy and squeaky when I'm excited or nervous, and I was a whole lot of both! 6 1/2 weeks until Hawaii!! Still high on life from that whole experience

The fabulous people at Wheel's promotional department sent me copies of three of my promo pictures!! Kate, did you have to ask for the pictures or did they just show up?

She had to ask for them. Sometimes, the pictures will get posted on local news websites close to and/or after the episode airs, but if you want them, you can always E-mail wofhelp(at)sonypictures(dot)com with your info (name, episode you were on, what theme week) after your show airs and they'll send them to you. Be sure to wait until after it airs so that they can give you all the good stuff. Modified the email address so the show's email account doesn't get flooded with spam on our behalf. This post has not otherwise been modified.
