About two years ago on Price is Right, a woman in Contestant's Row "fell ill" at one point (not seen or heard in the broadcast), so her sister that went with her took her spot for the rest of the show. She eventually got on stage, but lost at One Away and the Showcase Showdown. I remember that, it was pretty weird

This was a good battle between Joe and Kristen. It's a shame Homaira couldn't anything going.
R1: The T's were unrevealed, but Kristen will have a fun time in China!
R2: Excellent round for Joe!
R3: Poor Kristen got nailed by that MDW BANKRUPT, but Homaira shouldn't have repeated that D.
R4: Kristen may not have overcome Joe's big lead, but a second place total of over $20K is still great in my book.
Bonus Round: That one I knew w/ RSTLNE. It's a phrase you can describe well-made pancakes, BTW. The I was OK, but the D was definitely a waste. Then again, Joe doesn't have to pay more taxes on two vehicles.
MY EPISODE RATING: 7 out of 10

First two rounds were good, especially R2 with the car win.
Unfortunately, neither of the girls knew their B-52's, allowing Joe to secure his lead. Homaira should have at least realized that it wasn't ROAD, though, since the D was already up there, and that mistake led to her only getting the Pity Thousand.
BR: Got this one with RSTLNE. FGHI mauls this puzzle, and any attempt to fill in the obvious AND would be just wasted letters. I was surprised Joe couldn't at least get LIGHT, though...

... Why hasn't this epic fail been catalogued on YT?? (Answer: probably never rerun.) That'd be my first guess. Clips from the late 1990s are extremely scant for some reason. Then again, there is some stuff that's been shown a lot but never appeared online. GSN reran Season 6 a billion times, but I don't think anyone ever got the "TOE ACROPOLIS" guy.

^Yeah, but that was a returning champ. I'm talking about one-and-done players, especially one who has to bow out of a game during its taping. They definitely tell you that if you have to bow out on the day of your taping, they'll reschedule you. They tell you that they want you to be at your best, etc. etc. etc. However, they didn't say anything about if you have to bail in the middle of taping. That's a fun question... I have a friend who is in the contestant pool and hoping to get called soon for taping... If I can remember, I'll have her ask.

That's partly because GSN hasn't aired much of anything from Season 15 onward. The Wiki's video archives don't list the November 6 show, either. Then again, there is some stuff that's been shown a lot but never appeared online. GSN reran Season 6 a billion times, but I don't think anyone ever got the "TOE ACROPOLIS" guy. I'm pretty sure somebody has it. I could ask Snowpeck, as he's got quite a bit of Season 6 and has helped me (and the Wiki) tremendously over the past six months or so.

Let me cite an example from a celebrity week of "Wheel", Nov. 1997: William Shatner ragequit during round 2, so he was replaced for the rest of the show. It turns out his quitting was not out of rage. Very special thanks to Pat for putting this game show rumor to rest.
