My Wife will be tape her episode on Thursday!

Welcome and congratulations on the most exciting day of you and your wife's life. I just taped two months ago, and just being there was a thrill. A couple of things you'll want to know...

- You'll likely sit with the guests of other contestants, far away from the contestants themselves, and you won't be able to communicate in any way with the contestants until they finish taping and reunite with their guests. You'll sit on the puzzle board side of the stage.
- You won't know which episode your wife will be taping until she actually steps out on stage. She could be first, or she could be last.
- Give your wife everything you've got and cheer her on! She's gotten this far, and I'm sure she'll do great!
- Remember to dress neatly, in case your wife wins and you get to go on camera for the Bonus Round.
- You're on the honor system here, but don't disclose the results or any gameplay elements of any show you watch.
- Finally, try to sit at least 3rd row or higher. If you sit in the first two rows, the frosted glass will obstruct your view.
- If you've never been to a game show taping, you're going to love it. Be prepared to clap a lot and give a lot of energy. Try not to communicate any puzzle solutions, though.

PS, do you know what the theme of her taping is, and when it's going to air? If so, please report it back to us.

Awesome, I wish her the best of luck, and I'm sure she'll do great! As jmdarrall (2 Ls, cu, not one ) says, we'd love to know the theme.

As for my advice, if she's not too overwhelmed as-is: Guess BGHO in the Bonus Round, should she get there. Statistically, it plays a lot better than the traditional CDMA, which worked best in the early-mid 90s. Additionally, I'd study past puzzles; Guint's Compedium, by clicking links, then finding the one that says "Guint" on it. It has quite a few puzzles, and I'd study the ones around Season 27 (fellow boardies, correct me if it should be something else), since the show repeats puzzles, quite a lot. And if you know the puzzles, well, that can truly help you ultimately win.

Pure Paradise makes sense...it's a theme they've used before in late Spring/early Summer, IIRC. Another America's Game week in June, huh? That's usually the season-ender. I got an America's Game show, too. You should be able to find the exact airdates in your wife's contestant documents (DAY OF TAPING INFORMATION, I believe) that was FedEx'd to your home recently.

Just got back from the West Coast! A few things: It was a great experience from the Audience and my wife had a fantastic time too.  No spoilers but i will say this.  Her episode airs March 28th and her name is Robyn!

Yup. I literally drew the #6 ball (I was hoping not to draw #1), so there's a big gap in between the other shows and my show. Rest assured, I'll be ready to give the dirt on the California Coast shows and be ready to TAKE the dirt when my show airs on May 2!
