No. You got suspended for fifteen days for overreacting (like you've been doing with everything lately) and posting an extremely offensive, insensitive remark...especially when you've been told over and over and over and OVER again that you need to learn to watch what you say. There are more important things in life than television shows and the Boston Red Sox. I really think you need to sit down, take a break, and rethink your priorities. Because they're in the wrong places, and I'm seriously concerned for your mental well-being. My condolences go out to anyone affected by this terrible, terrible tragedy. It's really a shame nobody can get along anymore. Where did it all go wrong? Back on topic...ABC and CBS will be running extended editions of their evening newscasts tonight, so those who watch on either an ABC or CBS station at 7 may be affected. No news yet on NBC's plans. |

I don't want to drag this out, but I was posting with the right intentions, just from my perspective. It's everyone else who's twisting it into "sports > tragedy for this guy!!!11". I mean what the hell... this is clearly Seth just looking for an excuse to shit on me.

I'd lock this thread, but I'll leave it for anyone who's willing to share their condolences or information on a pre-emption or otherwise in their area. Don't be surprised if Wheel's pre-empted across the Big 3 nationally tonight... I especially feel sorry for the Newtown families that were reportedly there...  |

ABC is airing a special one-hour edition of World News at 6:30 ET, so whatever show airs at 7 will very likely be pre-empted or rescheduled.

7:30 viewers may be subject to a pre-emption of extra local newscasts immediately after ABC/NBC News, though.
CBS News is also airing a full hour newscast. Though some Big 3 affiliates have switched to other programming as of 7, but this appears to be in favor of local newscasts.

WOF is on NBC, yet it's still airing and it's 7pm. NBC is doing an extra half-hour, but I guess its optional.

WTSP also pre-empted Wheel, again due to an expanded CBS Evening News.

Absolutely terrible tragedy. The government likes to be on guard for these type of things, but in the end it is so hard to fight against. I hope those that are injured recovered and I pray for those who lost someone in such senseless violence. Disappointing. Absolutely disappointing.
Local FOX did not preempt either WOF or J! I currently have WOF exporting, but it's currently pegged at five hours for rendering (goodness, I must get on top of clearing some space off this thing). Unless someone else uploads, don't expect anything until the middle of the night.

WABC is airing Wheel one day behind to compensate for the pre-emption (meaning today's broadcast was yesterday's episode and Friday's will be broadcast Saturday evening). Other ABC stations might be doing the same if it didn't air overnight.

Shots were fired in Watertown. All of the Big 3 are airing live coverage. ABC has gone into mandatory "Special Report" mode for anyone whose affiliates switched to other programming at 7:00, though some affiliates have chosen to air Wheel at least in part.
