Welcome.  Not that I can find (the shot wasn't sent to me or anything. I just found it). And they could always use both logos. The one on the monitor wall matches the set better. |

To me it looks like a modified CES rather than a completely new set. The backdrop and floor are the same, but the floor no longer has the "piano key" lights. I bet the podiums are still the same ones from the CES set. Fixed maligned quote. |

Giggity. EVERYTHING'S BACK ON ONE LEVEL!!! The podiums look like a streamlined version of the 2006-09 models, a nice throwback, nonetheless. Really, from colors to style, this new set takes a lot from the last 3 redesigns (everything since the sushi bar), and does it all really well. I'm really looking forward to how it looks on the air! |

Thanks again, Mario! I'm really digging the changes. The lighting on these photos makes the set look a bit dark, but I'll reserve any judgment until I see it on air.

The CES set is one of my favorite sets along with the sushi bar set, but the new set is just awesome even though it doesn't appear to look quite as futuristic as the CES set. The only thing I don't like about the new set is that the large monitor between Alex and the contestants is still there; I was hoping it would be removed so Alex would stand in front of the board when revealing the FJ! clue like he did before Season 28; also he would stand in front of the board when revealing the category like before the CES set,
Seeing how awesome the new set is I hope they'll bring back the original board fill sound, the set changing to red for DJ! and FJ!, and bring back the 2001 music package. The current music package didn't fit at all; it didn't even fit the CES set.

Consumer Electronics Show. It's held in Las Vegas every January. The show filmed a few episodes there and they were the first to have the now-retired set.
