I wonder if they'll actually do another Teen Best Friends week this coming season. We haven't had once since S28, but the application has always been up (and what about having 10-17-year-olds for Family Week like the adult application has stated for years now? ). It's too bad they don't allow anyone under 18 to apply at Wheelmobile events, so having the only teen opportunities be final auditions held in one location limit things a lot...And from what I've seen, they've been having college-only auditions in Culver City recently. Though I assume, as the application states, you have to be in high school to be on a Teen Week. I remember wanting to be on one, but ever since they stopped doing solo Teen Weeks, I refuse to be part of any team week.

No. I just know that there were auditions for it earlier this month and last month, both in Culver City. I doubt it's happening in Vegas.

Again, why? Because you're too close friends with Mark Corwin? If so, how often do you communicate with him? I would stop doing so for a while. Maybe if you "lose touch" with him, he won't remember you by the time you get on the show.

Eeeesh...Gary's the head contestant coordinator, so yeah, your eligibility's probably shot. You'd probably have to stop speaking to him (and Mark) for at least 10 years for him not to recognize you, if you're lucky. Still nice to know that you're in touch with them both, though.

...Wait, this guy knows the head contestant coordinator as well?! Maybe he can get a confirmation on whether I've been banned...

The chances of Mark/Gary/anyone else knowing who you are in real life is VERY SLIM. I doubt anybody affiliated with the show even takes the time to pay attention to these things, let alone go tell them about it. Plus, you don't give enough information about yourself to identify who you are. All I know is that you are Daniel B. from Florida. Unless they have a wanted poster somewhere in their office, or your name is Raymond Taylor, I seriously doubt you are banned from the show. They have more important things to do than worry about you.

My concern is because I've painted a rather large bullseye on my back (or my stomach, or my pelvis) due to my comments here, and I give enough info about myself elsewhere that anyone who can put it together (not difficult) would know who I am. Besides, I don't really want to make the pilgrimage to Culver City or wherever on some distant day only to be told that I've been banned. Still, you're right -- Wheel does in fact have more important things to do...like making themed puzzles.

He only E-mailed you to tell you that? Or was it because you asked? (If it wasn't the latter, then that's good for me... )

(If it wasn't the latter, then that's good for me... ) Well I applied for a contestant last summer and I did "the wrong thing" by telling Mark Corwin by asking him if he remembered me and that I am trying out (I think I deserve a slap in the face LOL)

Bumping to share some unfortunate news... Sony has dropped the Face of the Fan program. Now it's just Wheelmobiles and online applications that can get you an audition.

Must have ran out of fans with faces. After all, the kind that do nothing but spin around get boring to look at on TV after a while. And can take off Pat's fingers when they're being introduced.

It was a method of earning a final audition where you upload a 60-second video where you introduce yourself and say why you would be an ideal contestant. The best candidates were sent invites to final auditions in their area in addition to people who attended local Wheelmobile events (where teens are not allowed to apply) and randomly-selected online applicants.
