I too had a Wheel dream last night:
It took place in a packed auditorium that looked like it held about 5000 people and it was shaped like a baseball diamond (wide at the back, narrow at the front). Instead of a stage, there was a projection screen that you would see at a movie theater. Everyone there was about to watch a pre-taped episode, however, the episode contained no audience sounds, which explains the purpose of everybody being there: as we all watched the show, we would react and what we did would be added into the episode. The auditorium was divided horizontally across the middle into 2 sections by a walkway that was wide enough to fit 20 people side by side. Both sections were split vertically down the middle by a small stairway. For some reason, I can also recall there being a waitress walking around giving drinks.

Had a very strange dream last night, first in quite a while and I just remembered to post it.
So this seems to have been a Season 31 viewing party. A lot of people were there enjoying refreshments, chatting, and waiting for Wheel to come on. After someone picks up a TV remote, the dream fast forwards to Round 4. There was just a ton of emphasis on the wheel and I could see why... that wheel was extremely odd. Two sections of the wheel in particular.
The top dollar value was still $5,000, but that was about the only normal thing on this wheel. All of the wedges had white borders on them, some fonts were 1980s Wheel-esque and others were completely random. Two sections of the wheel stood out in particular. The first had two adjacent wedges - a $500 and a $525, one of them was blue, but I can't recall which. The second section had a string of three wedges: a yellow $300 and the $5,000, but the wedge in between those two was a pink $330!
There were also a handful of wedges that featured a third of a Bankrupt and a third of a Lose a Turn, much like the Vault. Besides that, nothing else was notable about the episode, other than Pat putting a third of the green $1,000 on an orange wedge for some reason.
People at the party were displeased with the wheel and angered by what Pat had done. When all of a sudden, an extreme change in the dream's course happened. I won't go into that (unless you want me to tell you about it, send me a PM).

Is the extreme change WOF related?

No. As I said, completely different from the WoF part of the full dream, which I left out to prevent going off-topic.

Had a dream last night, and it was actually fun! The dream took place in one of those indoor glow-in-the-dark places with the ultraviolet lights. Basically, it was a bumper car ride that was, for some reason, cross-themed between WOF and The Simpsons. Here's what I remember: - Instead of standing in line waiting to ride, you already had a bumper car waiting behind everyone else in a line that lead to the ride. - There was a picture of Vanna & Goen at the wheel hung on a wall. That was the only photo I saw. - Once you approached the track, you entered it by going through 2 silver doors. Both doors had a large pane of glass that allowed you to see inside. The bottom of these doors had the circular WOF logo that was split down the middle in 2 halves, one half on each door. Now for the actual ride. I was woken up before I actually rode it, but I can still remember how it worked: - 4 cars played at a time. - Each ride lasted 2 minutes. - Each car started in a corner. These corners had squares on the floor that acted like home bases and corresponded to the respective cars. The color of the cars were red, green, orange, and blue. - The object of the game was to rack up as many points as possible. The way you did that was by running over circular point spots on the floor. At any time, you could return back to your corner and "bank" your points that you accumulated on the floor. (or as it was referred to in the dream, On Account). Why would you do that: - You could make a player go Bankrupt by bumping into them, however, you would also go Bankrupt too since both players collided with each other. You would only lose the points you had not yet banked. - There were 2 red LCD scoreboards in the bumper car that rested above the steering wheel, facing the player. The top board would state the amount of points accumulated and the bottom showed the amount of banked points. - While the game was playing, Simpsons music played over the speakers. The slide whistle would be heard when players went Bankrupt, and the Letter-In-Puzzle ding would be heard when a player returned back to their corner. After the 2 minutes were up, the cars stopped and Homer would go "Awwwwwww", followed by this cue. Any accumulated points not banked were lost. - These are what the spaces look like. Running over the Lose A Turn space makes you lose control of the car for 5 seconds and any point spots you run over would NOT count during the 5 seconds.

That sounds like a pretty fun (and really hectic) game. You should patent that. Seriously.

I just woke up from my first Wheel dream. I don't remember anything about the wheel. They seemingly brought back champions, seeing as I was on the show multiple times during the dream. Pat and Vanna were there, except for one episode. I noticed this and wanted to ask Pat about where Vanna was, so they went to commercial during the puzzle. He said Vanna was doing something personal and that's why she wasn't there. The puzzleboard as it went to commercial said "JAY'S", I think. I told him everyone from Buy A Vowel was going to ask "Where's Vanna?", and he said something, but the thing that caught my ear is that he asked about when a project BAV was doing would be finished. I told him "soon".

A few months ago, I had a dream that I solved SCENTED CANDLES in the Speed-Up just before the buzzer with only the S's showing. That puzzle showed up on 9/30. Hmm…
I also had a dream last night that I was in the audience waiting for my own show while watching another show getting taped, and I recognized one of the contestants as being from my audition.

I had a dream last night that I was watching a promo for a game show that turned out to essentially be a themed version of Wheel of Fortune. (No memory of that theme other than being a permanent feature and not rotating like the real-life American show.) The set largely resembled Celebrity Wheel of Fortune in Australia (with its dark blue walls and Woolery-esque puzzle board), but the design of the trilons and the puzzle board font looked like they came from O Trokhos tēs Tychēs.

Last night, I had a dream that I was watching a first-run episode with a suddenly different round structure. Round 1 had the Express Wedge, and it was landed on and the contestant won the round from it. I thought it must have been a mistake because I know they use Express during rehearsal games, so maybe they forgot to remove it before taping and nobody noticed, and wondered if they would still use it in R3. However, R3 not only did not use Express; it had $5000 as the top value, almost as if they were shortening the round structure for time constraints like in the mid-90s, but all remaining cardboard stayed on the Wheel, and most shockingly, there was a solid red add-on $2500 wedge placed over $650.

Had another dream last night, this time of an audience experience... I learned that the show was once again taping in NYC for Season 32, so I made sure to go. This time, the venue (which I believe was still called MSG in the dream) was very small, about the size of an individual one-level movie theater. The stage had a gold curtain closed down over it, probably waiting to be opened at the start of the first show. I sit down and Kelly Miyahara from J! (also a follower of the BAV Twitter account. ) is one of the ushers. I remember at one point, she scolded me for trying to take a picture on my iPod (just like the ushers at MSG did with others). The first show is about to start right on time. On a small TV monitor above the stage (still with the curtain closed), the slate appears and a female voice (not Jim Thornton; I worried that he wasn't the announcer anymore) begins to read it, but then staff yells "STOP!" and we have to delay the start of the show for technical difficulties (no further detail was explained). A lot of time passes, and I remember Pat came out at one point to address the crowd, and he said something to me which I forget. It ends up being about two hours behind schedule and I've had enough. I decide to go home and then come back a little later. However, there are endless obstacles on my trip back to the theater, most of which are me taking the wrong subway trains. Eventually, it's about 9:00 PM but I think there is a small chance they still need to film the last episode for the day, so I don't give up. I do eventually make it back and I see that the shows are over, but the audience is still there and are filling out surveys based on their thoughts about Wheel, and they're being proctored by one of my co-workers... I'm disappointed to learn that I'm too late, but the staff lets me spin the Wheel a bit. This Wheel was a bit smaller than the real one (about the same ratio as the real TPIR Big Wheel vs. the one used on the TPIR Live tour). Before I spin it, I notice that the podiums have iPad-like touchscreen panels behind them that let you change their color, their blinking pattern, or the Wheel's border colors, which I found confusing, but cool. I spin it and there's a pretty annoying drawback: the pegs are nubs which are too short to be grabbed by the hand and can only be pushed by your fingers. Because of this, most of my spins are too short for my satisfaction. The staff tells me I've had enough spins, so I ask for one more. I manage to get a good, long one this time, and the flipper (which was a thin rod) barely hangs on to $5000! The layout was pretty much the 1986-96 R4 one, but with smaller numbers (much like the 1994 PC game) and the colors were very washed out. There are more tapings the next day so I planned to come to those, too, only I never made it before I woke up because I once again kept ending up at the wrong subway stations. I imagine this dream happened because it had been exactly one year since I went to the NYC tapings. I also had a dream the other night where I stumbled upon people setting up for a Wheelmobile event that was about to be held at my local mall.
