We've all seen what happened with the "SEVEN SWANS A SWIMMIN'" thing, right? Well, who could forget the episode of Jeopardy!'s Kids Week, featuring the Emancipation Proclamation? (or "Emanciptation Proclamation"; they were right to count it wrong, I knew the kid got it wrong as soon as I saw his response)
So if the judges ruled that wrong on Wheel, can they do the same on "Jeopardy!" (i.e. "What is Seven Swans a-Swimmin?" for "What is Seven Swans a-Swimming?" Even if those are two different spellings/pronunciations, can they do that?
Or does this vary from show to show?

You know...I almost forgot about that one. I watched the repeat of the Teachers Tournament QF game 1, and noticed what I didn't notice the first time.

There's also emanciptation proclamation during Kids Week... That's the one I mentioned in the initial post. They had every right to count that one wrong--and I knew they would once they revealed his response...the spelling did change the pronuniciation. Same deal with Back to School 2005 when a young girl put down Bejamin Franklin instead of BeNjamin Franklin...that excluded N cost her and I knew it would, as I knew it would change the pronunciation . However, I see NO change in pronunciation of the Seven Swans-a-Swimmin' or Waitin' for Godot...spelling's the same, pronunciation's the same.

Well... I mean ING and IN' sound totally different to me but that might be my "midland" accent.
