Reminds me of one I read about where the answer was FRANKLY MY DEAR I DON'T GIVE A DAMN (I'm presuming it was a Quotation, but don't hold me to that) and the player missolved it as FRANKLY MY DEAR I DON'T GIVE A DARN (for fear of swearing on TV)... nobody would give it a second thought today, I bet Alternately, that player may have only heard the family-friendly TV version. Still, if the R's or M's had already been called...well, then there's no real excuse for that screwup. Still far less tame than the "You better go in the gutter or you won't win!" attitude of Family Feud, though. |

I'd believe February to May 1989, since
A) The RSTLN E rule is in place (so at least after October 3, 1988)
B) Charlie O'Donnell is announcing (so at least after February 20, 1989)
C) They are still using the 3rd sunburst backdrops (so before June 1989, whenever the 1988-1989 season ended)
