Hi. I stumbled upon the wedges made by darellnonis in the Wedges and Tokens thread. I searched it on YouTube and this is what I got, this video of the 2004 episode: According to this, "Muflis" is Bankrupt, "Hilang Giliran" is Lose a Turn, and "Misteri" is a Surprise Wedge. Other special wedges shown in this video are the Mystery Wedges with 500 as face value, "Selesaika," "Astro," "Undur," and "Hiko" (this is appoximation, because I can't see that word).

GonzalesWOF, you are absolutely correct based on the explanations of the wedges. Just a few statements: - It's Aiko instead of Hiko --> it's a prize wedge. - Astro is also a prize wedge --> Astro is a satellite TV broadcasting company (something like DirecTV) - It's Selesaikan (you left out the N) --> it means "Solve" and the player has to solve the puzzle to avoid risking bankruptcy. - Undur means Reverse --> if a blue player lands on this wedge, it's the yellow player's turn. If the yellow player loses their turn, it's the blue player's turn again and so on. - The mystery wedges used in this show contained either a prize or "Hilang Giliran". - And last but not least, you left out "Putaran Percuma" or "Free Spin", which is the star shaped card placed on the highest value on the wheel.

And if you don't mind, I created the exact duplication of the show's logo.

And guys, I can tell you what's under some of the liftable stuff as I have some pictures. Seeing that there are apparently no values have more than color, under Prize 2, Gonzales, is a gold/orange RM250 spot. Under the Mystery Wedge adjacent to RM1000 is a pink RM200. That's all I can figure out at this point for that layout. As for earlier round layouts, there seem to be some two-digit values based on the pictures I have.

I have five good reasons to bring this thread back to life. Someone just uploaded a few clips a few days ago - clips from when he was on Roda Impian back in 2005. Clearly, this had either a returning champions format or a Friday Finals format as he is seen in two Bonus Rounds.
Now the clips very likely out of order, but I'm showing them in the order that he uploaded them. As for game info, vowels cost RM50 and the top value is home to the Putaran Percuma (Free Spin) token. As for the Undur wedge, you lose your turn to the previous opponent instead of the next opponent, but you get your turn back if the previous opponent loses his or hers.
Other than that, enjoy.

OM to the G!!! This definitely brings back a lot of memories in my life! I remember I was just a kid and I follow this show everyday without fail germanname1990 I seriously didn't know that someone uploaded more shows of Roda Impian. And for that, I thank you to the max for posting it here . Now, the trivia: - The show uses the Juara Jumaat (Friday Championships) format because back then, the show uses 4 envelopes for the contestant to choose from that have been placed in the letters R, O, D and A respectively (which basically translates to WHEEL). So one letter is allocated for each day of the week (Monday to Thursday). On Friday, 3 contestants with the highest total winnings of the week are called back to play for Juara Jumaat. The winner of the game will play for a bigger prize in the bonus round. Usually, the big prize is either a car or a larger cash prize. - Each contestant is encouraged to say "Wang Besar" (Big Money) when spinning the wheel and has become the catchphrase for the show throughout its run. Furthermore, as the contestant calls out a letter, they must say a word starting with that letter to avoid confusion of letters that sound alike (i.e. B and P, T and D, etc.). - The top value wedges on each round are as follows: Round 1 - RM200 Round 2 - RM500 Round 3 - RM700 Round 4+ - RM1000 There are certain occasions that a RM5000 wedge is used for Round 4 onwards. - This show ran for 11 seasons before its hiatus in 2006 due to the host passed away for cardiac arrest. The show was revived in 2009 using a touch-activated puzzle board and a new wheel with the bonus round using the bonus wheel format, but it was less interesting and exciting because the values they used were lower and the studio design was dissatisfying. Because of that, the show was cancelled after two seasons due to low ratings.
That's all. I can finally die in peace .

I want to know if the studio design for the 2009 season resembled Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. At least three other versions did go this route (France, New Zealand, and Poland).

Well, I wouldn't die in peace or die happily just yet, darellnonis. I still interested in knowing the barren layouts for Rounds 1 and 4. Since I'm bring it up, I might as well show everyone what I got so far, based on the videos and photos that I've found on the Net. Apart from the Mystery wedges in Round 4, anything with question marks are values I'm still trying to figure out. For each of the white spaces with the five question marks, I know neither the value nor the color. You also got me interested in that RM5000 spot. Was it like a Muflis/RM5000/Muflis or anything like that? I don't see why it wouldn't be. Now with all this said, I'm glad you're happy. You're welcome for me showing you the videos, but it's really the uploader you want to thank for posting them in the first place. Without him, I myself wouldn't have known what I know now. For that, I'm happy too.

Okay, that does not look like a Millionaire inspired set. I can compare it to Seasons 21-26 over here. Still, I agree that it's less fascinating than it could be.

germanname1990 That was actually from the early 2000s, where the show was celebrating the 100th show, and it was the only time when it was taped live with a live telecast. It was also the special 3-hour show featuring celebrities and contestants, infamous contestants (like the show's favorite past contestants), and performances.

My mistake, it was the 1000th show celebration.
Also, I found a documentary submitted by a YouTube user interviewing the first host of the show.
