Throwing in a camera to go with the trip in the Prize Puzzle wasn't exactly what I meant when I wanted the show to start offering other prizes than cars and trips again, but it's a step in the right direction.
I agree with therealcu2010 as regards the new money graphic. The font looks weird to me.
Before I get started, I wanna say sorry to the staffers for luring contestants from this message board to my site. I thought it was a personal attack and I've secretly created my recap site to competing against you, but now I realize my mistake. Hope you forgive me.
Anyway, I've never commented on any episodes this season at all, so I'll start anew w/ a better attitude from the beginning (I'll comment on some episodes per day)...
Tossups: Wow, we have our first bad solve of the season almost immediately (on the second one). Don't think FUNNY MONEY even exists.
R1: I don't think I've heard anyone say this way, because I'm more familiar w/ PASSING WITH FLYING COLORS. Too bad Jil didn't get to keep the MDW.
R2: Portia did all right here.
R3: I like this new wedge, because it's a great game changer. You either go big or go home. What a shame we didn't get to see it in action right away thanks to Ryan's bad S call.
R4: Whew, close call right there for Jil.
BR: I had the right answer w/ RSTLNE though I wasn't so sure. Frontloading the alphabet or calling CDMA would've won it for Jil.
Sorry for the bump, but I was watching the Saturday rerun of this episode tonight (since I never got to watch this season's premiere when it originally aired) and noticed that Pat did not explain the Express Wedge before Round 3. For anyone who has this episode, did he explain it in the original airing? It seems odd that they would edit that out for a rerun but not references to the fact that it was the Season 31 premiere.
