Thought I'd do another retro recap for everyone.
It's the Friday Finals of European Vacation Week. Our three finalists:
Leon Council, Aurora, CO, likes ballroom dancing; won $24,850 (all cash) on Monday
Bruce Brown, Manhattan Beach, CA; won $38,615 and two trips on Thursday
Becky Haskamp, Lee's Summit, MO; won $43,500 including a London and Paris trip on an unstated day
Round 1: Person
Leon spins $250 next to $600 for R, then duds with T on the same wedge.
Bruce lands on $250 and calls N, then calls S on $250 next to $900. He buys E and A, and his next spin is $500 for D. After that, he lands on $250 next to $600 and picks P. The next spin slips out of his hand, but he tries it again and snags a G on $550. He once again spins too lightly, so Pat stops him a second time. The next go-'round nets him a Free Spin with M.

G R A N D
M A R S _ A _

Bruce spins $250 next to $600 for N, then calls T and R on $900 and $800. He buys I and O, but the second of those isn't up there, so he uses the Free Spin to buy A. Next, he calls S on $600, and buys E.
