I particularly liked Geoff on Play the Percentages (short-lived Barry-Enright effort from the first half of 1980) and the 1986-91 Chain Reaction (originally hosted by Blake Emmons). two different versions of Treasure Hunters, prefaced with The New for the 1970s series (but not the pilot) due to being a revival of the 1950s Jan Murray game. Methinks you may have conflated it with Bargain Hunters, hosted by the also-dearly-missed Peter Tomarken.  |
