I don't really keep track of what I use as my avatar. But I take it you like the color? This is an experiment because I'm going to be changing the TDV structure on my Wheels soon when I make the 500-minimum upgrade (very likely to 3000/4000/5000/7500) and I didn't want to make the $7500 silver or gold. I was trying to make it reminiscent of diamond. In fact, I'm in the process of updating all my full-width "sparkly" wedges because I noticed the vectors were a few pixels too high compared to the show. Remember that collage of wedges I posted a few months ago? Expect a new one soon with that $7500 (or whatever other color proves to be popular).

Well now that you've done this, I don't think the $10,000 "cash" wedge can be gold anymore. It needs to be something better than diamond.

I know that it's your show and you can do anything you want with it, but I don't think you should feel that you have to keep up with the actual show for the most part when doing your own show.
There are some things (like the Express Wedge) that the show uses now that I kind of like but don't incorporate those into my show; only because I think simplicity is key. In fact, I'm actually going backwards from what the actual show has done and am still using, more or less, the Season 24 Wheel (at least for Round 3) in my HYO shows.
I really like the way that your current wheel is Mario, and I would hate for you to have to change everything up just because the actual show is changing their Wheel.
If the actual show would have pulled this off correctly I think it would be a nice update, but they pretty much butchered the Wheel, in my opinion.
It would've been nice to have some $750, $850, $950, $1000, and $1500 spaces but the staff does not want to go to that effort for some reason.

Remember that collage of wedges I posted a few months ago? Expect a new one soon with that $7500 (or whatever other color proves to be popular). It was just a thought I had, but now that you mention it was diamond, oh goodness, I do love the color. In fact, you inspired me to try and use that diamond blue color sometime. In fact, I'm thinking about making my $2900 diamond blue. As for your upgrades, I'm looking forward to seeing them. As for my $7500 wedge, it's silver, or diamond, despite the 75th anniversary being the diamond anniversary. It's gold on my Super Wheel layouts and sparkly orange on my regular nighttime and special layouts. On my regular nighttime layouts, here's how each of my sparkly wedges are colored as of the time I'm typing this. The asterisk by the round number denotes that the value is the biggest for that round. $2000 (Round 2): Bright Green $2500 (Rounds 1* and 2): Lavender $2900 (Round 4): Blue $3000 (Round 2): Indigo $3500 (Rounds 2* and 3): Magenta $4000 (Round 3): Blue-Violet $5000 (Rounds 3* and 4): Live Play Pink $6000 (Round 4): Red $7500 (Round 4): Orange $10,000 (Round 4*): Live Play Purple

mechamind: Nah, I'm keeping any Oreo cash stuff gold for nostalgia's sake. I know that it's your show and you can do anything you want with it, but I don't think you should feel that you have to keep up with the actual show for the most part when doing your own show. I agree that they butchered the Wheel, but I just feel like I should have a similar range of values except with much more variety. I'll consider sticking to what I use now, but I've already drafted future game layouts. However, you do have a point, because a minimum of $500 means my vowels will have to be $700 or $750, and that in turn means everything else had to increase. The Mysteries would be $2000 vs. $20000, Express consonants would be $2000, Jackpot would start at $10000, Oreo wedge in R4+ would become $25000...it'd become more like "Extreme Wheel of Fortune". If I ever get around to making digital versions (only have them in YouSpin for now), I'll show them off and see what everyone thinks. There are actually more differences between these and S32 than there are between my current Wheels and S31, so I don't know what I'll do come September just yet.

The narrow Bankrupt lettering on the new Mystery Wedge made me wonder what a regular Bankrupt would look like with that lettering (in a bigger size of course). Pretty nice, actually. A "proper" narrow-lettered Bankrupt, not that "Bankrupt Prize Wedge" from Season 14.

I think they should do two lines with it instead of that "&" just squeezed in the middle
Maybe something like
CAR & CASH
Centered of course.

That's an interesting mystery round as well as the actual sized 10k. It's always fun seeing what everyone comes up with on the graphics concepts here.

The gang's all here. Everything except for the purple $350, WATCHES wedge, and Free Spin were made by me.

Wait. That's an actual Free Spin token? It looks so strange at a different angle.

mechamind I don't think that what he means when he said he didn't make the Free Spin. I can recall coming across a large picture of the Free Spin token. He probably just printed that photo off. When he says that he made stuff, I believe he means that he does everything on the computer himself, then by hand.

The other two that he claims aren't by his hand look like the real deal given what appears to be signature and the glitter on the $350.

The Free Spin I did not make in any way. It used to be one of those things that you could get in a WOF gift package, kind of like the mini wedges we see everywhere now. It's not genuine because SPIN is in the wrong font.

^ I thought the "SPIN" looked a bit off-model. Surprised there aren't more old wedges in circulation, they must have a ton of the things.
