...wow, that looks...horribly out of place.
And it's not just the numbers, the colors just look completely wrong. Gimme the sparkly gold thing any day.

Yeah, I made it as a joke. Though now you've inspired me to make a version with the gold full-size 10K ala that 1997 R2 gone horribly wrong.

If the 10K incident happened a decade later...No doubt Harry's pants wouldn't be any cleaner. Yeah, yeah. I know the podiums are the current style and the neon beams are the current blue. :effort:

I'd actually prefer a sparkly version of the Mystery Wedge reverse if we were considering a "cash" wedge instead of an accident.

My guess of the bare Season 32 layout with a possible minimum value of $500. Again, this is a GUESS from me. Everything from the red $700 to the Bankrupt is known, however.

I hope you're wrong, but in a good way. If $500 is indeed the minimum, is sure hope there are some 4-digit values (at least in Rounds 2+), otherwise the variety level of values has dropped significantly.

As much as I don't want them to change it because that means more printing for me, it'll be a good thing because some of my wedges are looking pretty beat up

Working on an actual-size replica of the $10,000 wedge. Got the back finished today. The front will start being made once I get some black posterboard.

How'd you do that? That's AMAZING! What kind of paper is that you used? Christmas wrapping paper?

It's holographic gold posterboard I bought at Stop & Shop. Some other arts and crafts stores might have it. It's made by the ArtSkills brand. The numbers (courtesy of you, of course ) were blown up in MS Word with a shadow effect I added and then printed out on transparency paper (the kind teachers use for overhead projectors), then those were glued on to the posterboard and carefully outlined with the silver marker you see on the left.

My design of an idea that Alex Davis of BuzzerBlog came up with last night on Twitter: The "2 for 1" token (name courtesy of Brad Davis). You use it before a spin (like Double Play) and call an arrow color other than your own. The spin adds your arrow plus the other color and you play for the sum of the two values and any cardboard landed on. So, for example, if you're yellow and you call red, and red lands on Wild Card while yellow lands on the red $700, you'll play for $1,200 per letter and the Wild Card. Of course, a Bankrupt or Lose a Turn overrides everything.

So what if you or the one you're calling is yellow, and the combo is Bankrupt/Free Play or Free Play/Lose A Turn?

Presumably, the penalty would take top priority, but good question. I might have to ask Alex.

Based on Free Play neither requiring a consonant call nor charging $250 for vowels, it would make sense for either combination to result in the contestant simply taking another turn (with no loss other than the token itself).

I really like the idea of that. Would it replace any cardboard currently on the wheel?

Well, after seeing your periwinkle $7500 wedge, MarioGS, I had an idea. Could you please post all the wedges you've used as your avatar here?
