Knowing that the color of the "Lose a Turn" wedge is actually a lighter shade of yellow (looking white to many), or having sort of a greyish tone, I've chosen to recolor the wedge. Still, thanks to MarioGS.

Gave it a greyish tone, huh? Not bad. Parker Brothers had a gray Lose A Turn of their own.

I have a hard time believing the "Lose a Turn is pale yellow" theory is still true today. I can somewhat see yellow in the Season 14 layout, but today? If anything non-white, it looks more like a very pale gray to me...

I do see a little difference there, Mario. Even on the TV.

Taking several color samples of that image reveals that the Lose a Turn is not a straight gray. In every sample I've taken of the "white", the blue value was the lowest. (I AM, interestingly, getting a red-orange to orange hue from the LAT.)
Edited to add: I do get a yellow from some places close to the rim. Point made anyway, though.

Hmm, taking the digital layout from the Vanna for a Day toolkit (which I still have saved), this is what I get when eyedropping the wedge...

For the longest while Even I could tell it was at least much whiter than it used to be 17 years ago. Still, there's more yellow than cyan or magenta.

Exactly where did that "Pale Yellow" theory come from? I first read it on the Wiki when I discovered it back in early 2012. Did someone on the staff mention it? Or did a fan point it out?

I think they intend for it to be considered white than pale yellow anyways, just judging from the contestant podium graphics....

Woah, I've never would have imagined that the current Lose a Turn is in fact a very very light yellow... It's surely because I always have the image of the Spanish "Pierde Turno" wedges, which are white.

How about this? Polish "Bankrupt" for the 2010 April Fool's show.

How about this? Polish and Slovakian "Bankrupt" for the 2010 April Fool's show. WheelGenius, this was my mistake thinking that that was how Slovakia spelled their version of Bankrupt, and I wanted to apologize for that. In fact, I'll honestly tell you that I was very certain it was spelled that way. It wasn't until last year that I found out much to my embarrassment that it was spelled with an O and not a U. As for why I didn't you sooner, that was another thing I was certain about - that I did tell you about this. But Slovakia's Bankrupt is indeed spelled with an O, and I'm very sorry for the mistake I made telling you otherwise.
