I want to give out a little spoiler alert based on the image I saw. Sports Jeopardy will have the traditional 6 categories on the board; but, each category has 4 dollar amounts instead of the usual 5. What do you guys think?  |

Perhaps there are 4 instead of 5 because it's a spinoff.

Scores may be lower due to the fact that there is no fifth clue.

Are we sure that it's not just mid-reveal? Based on how the board is built it looks REALLY bizarre for that not to be a 5th category.

Taping begins Monday, August 18th.
The series will premiere September 24th.

Well, I know Sports Jeopardy! started as an app, but who remembers GameTek's old Sports Editions and Pressman's ESPN Edition? BTW, I read this. sportsjeopardy.azurewebsites.net/download-about.pdfI read contestants will be playing for points (with cash prizes of $5K for the winner, $2K for second place, $1K for third). If that's the case, I presume that based off of the photo, the board was originally to offer cash. |

This is definitely filmed on the same stage as the regular Jeopardy! but with the board and podiums covered up with the wooden motifs. Eggcrates on the scoreboard prop!  I wonder if maybe those are the exact same ones that were previously used for Wheel. |

I missed something..... I heard something about this Sports Jeopardy, but I haven't seen it announced on CTV/City/Global/CBC here in Canada, or ABC/NBC/FOX/CBS in the US. Is it airing on a web-based content delivery platform? If it is, then "What is... Oh Crud! ? Wager: my internet speed." If you were wondering, the clue is "This would be Royce's reaction if Sports Jeopardy is airing on a web-based streaming platform like Netflix." Followed by: "Make your wagers..... You have 30 seconds, Good Luck" and then, "cue the Think! music".

Sports Jeopardy is airing exclusively on Crackle (an Internet video site). It will air weekly, starting this coming Wednesday (September 24) and adding a new episode every Wednesday thereafter.

Makes sense. When you're only using four clues per category, 250-1000 and 500-2000 are much more uniform than 200-800 and 400-1600.
