Sad news: Ben E. King, the man best known for "Stand By Me" (also the name of the hit 1986 film) and "There Goes My Baby" (featured in the 1993 flick "The Sandlot"), has passed away at age 76. RIP.

genius, I know Ben E. King was kind of a big deal as far the music world goes, but we generally frown on doing random obit threads like this unless it's a notable member of the game show community. No harm no foul this time, but please don't do it again.
