^^^I honestly didn't know what the true measurements should be so I just chose an easy size to measure, print, & cut out. I also could never find the true font ANYWHERE for free so I had to settle for Helvetica Neue Bold---I couldn't find condensed. Oh well, I'm happy with my results so far.
I should be able to start building the puzzle board's frame next week...

Do they use a different font for the apostrophe? I don't like the way it looks using Helvetica Neue. Basically, with that font it looks like a hyphen standing on its head.

I forgot to post that I'm using 3"x5" chipboard for the trilons...taping the edges together.
I got the chipboard on amazon.

Those look really cool! Though I've gotta ask...how are you going to make the letter tiles interchangeable?

The side with the letters will have a tiny piece of Velcro and the letters themselves will, also.

Try typing the apostrophe twice so that they turn into single quotes and then delete the first one. If that doesn't work, just use a comma and move it up.

I bought some recordable buzzers from amazon and painted them. I set them to say "red", "blue", & "yellow" when pressed for toss-up puzzles.

I remembered that I have the 25th anniversary Sheldon mini statue. I dug him out of my storage closet. Once I get my puzzle board finished, I'm going to set him on the top of it.

It looks more like the apostrophe used on the show.

I've not been able to work that much more on my puzzle board due to family health issues. Everything is ok now so I'm hoping to be able to get back to work on it soon. Once I get the frame fixed, it shouldn't take too much longer to make it.

Well, my "Wheel of Fortune" game was held tonight and it was fun.
All 3 contestants already knew the basics of the game play however for some odd reason they always called odd letters instead of the normal RST combinations. I'm not sure about their strategies. The red player ran away with the game with over $20,000 in winnings, the yellow player got goose-egged, and blue had a little over $8,000.
The first place winner received a $10 prize and second place won $5.
The bonus prize was a $5 McDonald's gift card but it wasn't won.
Here are the puzzles I used:
$1,000 Toss-Up (PLACE) P _ _ P K _ N P _ _ C H PUMPKIN PATCH
$2,000 Toss-Up (PEOPLE) G _ V _ _ S / A _ D T _ _ E R S GIVERS AND TAKERS
ROUND 1 (LANDMARK) Y _ L L _ _ S T _ N _ N _ T _ _ N _ L _ _ R _ YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK
MYSTERY ROUND (SAME LETTER) S T R _ N _ E S _ O O K _ S O U N D S STRANGE SPOOKY SOUNDS
EXPRESS ROUND & PRIZE PUZZLE (THING): TRIP TO ARUBA WORTH $6,000 S C U B A _ _ _ _ N _ E Q U _ P M E N T SCUBA DIVING EQUIPMENT
$3,000 Toss-Up (FOOD & DRINK) C A _ A M _ L A P P _ _ CARAMEL APPLE
ROUND 4 (EVENT) C H _ N _ I N _ / O F T H E / _ E _ _ E S CHANGING OF THE LEAVES
FULL SPEED-UP ROUND (ON THE MAP) B U _ _ _ L _ N E W / Y _ R K BUFFALO NEW YORK
BONUS ROUND (THING)
RSTLNE FILLED IN: _ _ _ E _ _ _ _ E R _
Contestant's picks were DMPA: _ _ D E _ _ A M E R A
Of course the answer is VIDEO CAMERA. I'm really surprised the contestant didn't solve it but I guess it just didn't click with her.

Nice batch of puzzles, TLC. Seems like a "Fall Fun" episode.
BTW you can use puzzles already used on Wheel on mock episodes NOT on Stage 11 3/4?

Yes, I was trying to do a Fall/Halloween theme.
I'm not sure what you meant about the Stage 11 3/4 puzzle comment....

BTW you can use puzzles already used on Wheel on mock episodes NOT on Stage 11 3/4? I don't see how the restriction should apply at all. And what are the chances of friends actually knowing about the BAV forum games? Friends may know about BAV itself, but unless they've registered I think the games are still hidden.

I've REALLY sort of given up on making a puzzle board for now. My brother and sister-in-law were helping me but they are very busy with other things and it looks like this will have to take the back burner for a while longer. I would still really like to make it someday but I just wanted to give a quick update about the status of my puzzle board.

I have a puzzle board program from a former member, WOFFan2008 that I use. It has music cues and everything. I've tried to email him, but to no avail. Not sure what the rules are about distribution. Looking back at our old PMs, he didn't state anything about lending it out. I'll keep you updated.
