That's the best shot of the wheel I've ever seen! Thanks for all the helpful info everyone! I can't wait to get this wheel finished so I can post pics for everyone to see!
Once I finish my main wheel, I'm also going to remodel my bonus wheel.

I agree with tic. I have a question though: can you make a Wheel out of just plain cardboard and some thumbtacks? I ask because I want to do my own Wheel, but my mom won't buy me the materials. (They're too expensive, she says)

You definitely could. I've seen some fans do that.

Great. Now all I need are two pieces of cardboard, a plate to trace a circle... And a printer. Oh boy.

You could always carefully draw a layout by hand.

The first wheel I ever made, I used cardboard and markers. No shame in cardboard.

(They're too expensive, she says) Listen to your mother. She is right. All the materials are expensive. For me to just redo my wheel, it's costing about $150.

Just wanted to give a quick update on the progress of my wheel remodel:
I should have new progress pics posted by the end of next week. I'm still waiting on my supplies (ink, photo paper, etc.) to arrive in the mail. Hopefully by then we'll know for sure what that yellow wedge is.
Once I get my wheel wedges all in place, then I'll start on my red, yellow, & blue podiums with the new flappers.

I've got a long way still until I completely finish my new wheel setup but here are a few progress pics:
until we get confirmation about that yellow wedge, I'm going to use $800 because that's what it most looks like. READY FOR THE MYSTERY ROUND:
THE FREE PLAY & EXPRESS WEDGES HAVE RAISED EDGE TO MIMIC THE ORIGINAL WEDGES:
READY FOR THE EXPRESS ROUND:
My next step I getting the green center completed and afixing it to my spinning device and 36" base that will be painted neon purple with blue stripes.
Once again, I want to express my sincere thanks to MarioGS and Wheelgenius for their awesome artwork. All the credit goes straight to them.

I got the green center painted. It's a little darker than I wanted but that's how it dried. I can live with it. Next step: working on the 36" base...

Nice. If you're unhappy with the center's color, you could always just put a sheet of green card stock or construction paper under the wedges.

^I used thick green poster board on my previous wheel and it was prone to get "spit stains", greasy fingerprints, and the such so I said to myself, self, when I redo my wheel I'm not going to use paper in the center....it will be paint. It's much easier to keep clean. I may go back later and repaint it a different green. I liked the color but it changed when it dried. Oh well...

I repainted the green center a lighter shade than before. I also finished the base. Here's a new pic... The wheel itself is 24" and the base is 36". If anyone's interested, I got these pieces of wood at Lowe's.

Nice! Looks very authentic! Now all that's left are the podiums.

^Thanks! And I think the podium area is going to be the tricky thing that'll take me more time to get it perfect.
I wish I knew more people that'd play wheel with me. It's usually just my mom, aunt, and myself that play. It's a shame for this wheel to not be used more.

Are you part of any kind of club, school, or institution or anything like that? Maybe you could talk someone into hosting Wheel of Fortune nights.

This is one of if not the best wheel models I have ever seen the only problem is that 600-550-500 cluster near the Bankrupt

I may see if the community that my Aunt lives in wants to do a monthly "wheel night". That would be fun and I wouldn't even have to explain any rules to them because all of them watch wheel, lol.
Tell me about it, I hate that 600/550/500 cluster and now it's even worse that they've replaced the pink 900 with a 600.
