No, I don't think that we did. I wish we would've though, since that'd be pretty cool to have.

Which day this week is your show airing? I forgot the order that everyone taped in. Unfortunately the stupid World Series is pre-empting Tuesday's, Wednesday's, and Friday's shows here so I won't be able to watch.

Just watched the Halloween "Set Tour" video on the Wheel site and was surprised to see me in it! I have no clue what was happening at that moment though. Haha. www.wheeloffortune.com/news-and-events/

You're looking pretty enthusiastic there yourself, ricky! Like the solid grey shirt too. I think yesterday's contestant at the red podium, Mark, was also wearing one.

ricky, can you find a place in the Washington DC market are where you can watch? Its ABC 7, and I don't think it's very far from you if you are in the Baltimore area.

FOX is actually airing Wheel tomorrow (because there's no baseball game), so I'll be able to watch my show.

So I'm starting to think about when I'm going to go for my Savannah trip and was wondering about airfare. It says that I get 2 RT Sony coach tickets from my hometown (with a retail value of $1,000). For anyone who has won a trip on the show before (or anyone who knows the answer to this at all), how does the airfare work? I mean, if you book your tickets and they only cost $500, do you get the other $500 from the $1,000 retail value back in cash? Or is it that you get two tickets, whatever they cost? The reason I ask is because I was looking last night at airline prices and on one airliner, it'd only be $39 each way from Baltimore to Savannah. If you're not getting any "cash back", so to speak, it'd make sense to make use of the airfare "retail value" and go with a better airliner.

I'm not for sure, but I remember reading somewhere that if you can prove the trip cost less that the retail price, then you would only pay taxes on that amount. So there's that to consider. Not sure how much of a difference that would make though.

Thanks for that information, because I'm not really seeing how my trip costs the retail price they say. I did the breakdown for room, airfare, and spending money, and it's about $2,000 LOWER than retail. So that would definitely help come tax time. I hadn't even thought of that, but I'll have to look into it for next year's return. Thanks!

ricky, I know I'm a little behind the times and unfortunately even missed your episode (note to self to definitely read the recap!), but I loved the reading through the well-documented legs of your journey from Wheelmobile Event to Taping Day! Everything was so well-described, I felt as though I was right there with you (wishful thinking, I know!). Thanks for sharing your entertaining adventure!
