We're getting ever closer to declaring the worst game show of all time. During the next week, we will find out our "Fecal Four". We will fill two of those four slots right now. So... which two matches do I want to start with? I think I want to save the more interesting matches for the second half of this round. Match #1 -- Stillwater Final#1 seed -- The Chamber (FOX, 2002, Rick Schwartz) #14 seed -- Strip Poker (Syn/USA, 1999-2001, Graham Elwood) Match #2 -- Elizabethtown Final#6 seed -- Take It All (NBC, 2012, Howie Mandel) #8 seed -- Love Triangle (GSN, 2011, Wendy Williams) Votes are due on Monday August 31 at 6 PM Eastern.

Match 1: You know what I have a confession to make I actually somewhere deep in my heart enjoyed the chamber and wanted to see the unaired episodes and strip poker just blah.. So don't judge me The Chamber: 10 pts. Strip poker: 1 pt.
Match 2: 11-0 I show no mercy for love triangle take it all is American golden balls to me so we are going for the favor of Take it all here

* Doesn't matter what it's up against, The Chamber is still televised torture. 10-1 in favor of Strip Poker, and that "1" is only because The Chamber's preliminary game is good (although that's only because it's basically Pass the Buck's front game).
* Love Triangle was harmless in the end. Take It All showed how greedy people are willing to be, and even with its few positives (Howie Mandel, the onstage announcer, the fact it's pretty much a big-money Give-N-Take) it still sucks. 8-3 in favor of GSN.

Yeah, I know that everybody has been waiting for the first two results. Let's not delay anymore. The Stillwater, MN, regional final had our final remaining #1 seed playing against one of two #14 seeds to make it this deep into the turdament. The final score was 63-36. Did Strip Poker manage to show enough skin to knock The Chamber back into the cesspool from whence it came? No it didn't! The Chamber was on the losing edge of this match, and it's going to Flint! The Elizabethtown, NY, regional final was a more evenly-seeded match. NBC's only remaining game show had the #6 seed. GSN's ill-fated relationship game show had the #8 seed. The final score here was 53-24. Did Take It All take it all the way to the Fecal Four? No it didn't! Love Triangle stunk this one up big time, so Wendy is off to Michigan, much to UniquePerspective's dismay. So let's move on to the more interesting two matches. These four game shows... yeah, I think we've said enough about them. Just like The Chamber, these truly are the worst of the worst. Match #3 -- Garden Grove Final#4 seed -- The Moment of Truth (FOX, 2008-09, Mark L. Walberg) #11 seed -- Shoppers Casino (Syn, 1987, Jeff Maxwell) Match #4 -- Hattiesburg Final#4 seed -- The Meow Mix Think Like a Cat Game Show (GSN, 2008, Chuck Woolery) #14 seed -- Thousand Dollar Bee (Black Family Channel, 2004-07, Sinatra Onieyewacki) Votes are due on Thursday September 3 at 7:30 PM Eastern.

First two matches were meh, but these tow I definitely want to make sure my vote gets counted for...
Match 3: The Moment of Truth may have some bad points, okay, a lot of bad points. But nothing can compare to the steaming pile that is Shopper's Casino. It is a complete and unmitigated mess from top to bottom. Where Moment of Truth was more a lie detector show with money thrown in, SC was actually SUPPOSED to be a game show, and it flops so hard. The Moment of Truth has found its moment to exit with the help of 11 points, while Shopper's Casino goes BUST and should start placing its orders for the Fecal Four.
Match 4: Now this match... both of these shows are abysmal. Think Like a Cat, though, was only abysmal once. Thousand Dollar Bee was abysmal for MULTIPLE YEARS before getting canned. I gave Think Like a Cat just one point in an earlier round in honor of Chuck, now I intend to reverse that move. Think Like a Cat bats around a big ball of 10, while Thousand Dollar Bee's doom is spelled with just O-N-E, one.

* See, I'm kind of the opposite of Scott here. Shopper's Casino was at least trying to be a game show. Sure, it failed in pretty much every aspect, but I suspect the premiere show (the one that's been circulating for years) may have been an aired pilot, hence the low budget and the "home viewer" playing "by phone" clearly being in the studio -- if another episode ever turns up, it's possible opinions might change. The Moment of Truth, on the other hand, gleefully destroyed lives and showed how far some would go for the prospect of big money. When your host goes on the record as saying he regrets doing your show, that's a bad sign. 10-1 in favor of Shopper's Casino, the "1" only because of Mark L. Walberg.
* Okay, now this one I'll agree with Scott on. Think Like A Cat had a variety of games (granted, all of 'em were ripoffs of other shows, but still), plus Chuck Woolery was host. More importantly, it was a one-off, so its damage was minimal. Thousand-Dollar Bee, on the other hand...I get what they were trying to do, I really do. Problem is, it was so cheaply put together it failed at it...and frankly, the footage that's online is just plain depressing to watch. 10-1 in favor of GSN, the "1" because one round of Bee (spelling words with magnetic letters) could be seen as an homage to Soul Train's Scramble Board.

It looked like he said 10-1 in favor of Moment of Truth, though I may be wrong.

It looked like he said 10-1 in favor of Moment of Truth, though I may be wrong. I read that as 11 points Thousand Dollar Bee, 0 points Think Like a Cat, and no vote whatsoever for Moment of Truth vs. Shoppers Casino.

I've kept everybody in suspense long enough. Let's close out this round and pack our bags for Michigan. As you will recall, the Garden Grove, CA, regional final put lie detectors against the home shopping game. No, not those two game shows! We're talking about #4 seed The Moment of Truth and #11 seed Shoppers Casino. The final score here was 76-45. Did the truth finally set Shoppers Casino free? Yes it did! Shoppers Casino cashes out of the turdament, so The Moment of Truth fills the third slot of our quartet. Finally, in the Hattiesburg, MS, regional final... Cats and Bees. The cat food infomercial had the #4 seed. The poorly-produced spelling bee had the #14 seed. No #14 seed has ever made it to the NCAA Final Four. We've already seen a #16 seed knock off a #1 seed at the beginning of this turdament. With the final score on this match being 75-35, did we have another Historic Moment® at Golden-Road.net? Yes we did! The Meow Mix Think Like a Cat Game Show will take a catnap until the 2d Annual Game Show Turdament, while Thousand Dollar Bee takes the final spot in the Fecal Four. What an interesting foursome that is remaining in our turdament. We will give all of our contestants and voters a few days to rest, then we will return on Labor Day to play out... the Fecal Four!

And I thought for sure Shopper's Casino would go all the way. Just goes to show that anything - and everything - can happen.
