So... That's it! As you can see in the totals table, this season has been worth $9,499,029 (if we don't count the $650 that they didn't acknowledge in the scoreboard of a player). That's always been obvious, but now we can say they have saved a lot of money this season (even if we don't have into account that last season they gave away the million). I'm not sure that if I will be able to make the stats next season, since now I'm working and, as you've seen this season, I've been late publishing the stats. However, if you don't mind seeing them later... I will continue with that! See you next season! |

While not having a million was a big drop-off, the two primary reasons are the retirement of the 1/2 Car wedges from Round 1 and more naturally, ten fewer BR solves. Since Sony is doing well with its own games even if their movies have been struggling, how can they not promote Wheel/J! for PS4 and introduce some new features (unlocking classic episodes for example just for playing the game or having a chance to be a contestant on the show) to compliment their growth, rather than outsourcing it to some lame third party developer that doesn't really know much about the show?
Still, the season was about what I'd expect, though I didn't expect the drop-off in BR solves, which sadly were more at the fault of the contestants' nerves than how they should have known. I did like how some prizes weren't announced until after they were won, the rare seven round episode, and the new "CLUE" based on a crossword puzzle during the final week that I'd like to see become a regular category.
BTW, I would appreciate also if you broke down the number of episodes by rounds played (4, 5, 6, or 7).
