What are your favorite moments from TPIR? Mine has to be the debut of Plinko and Bob's final show. Additionaly, the MDS were wonderful as well.

Two of mine are: The time Bob kicked Squeeze Play because the numbers were in misalignment. The time this guy collapsed in response to the outcome of his playing of Squeeze Play with Drew Carey: youtu.be/EfC0HjdOzII

One of my most favorite moment happens on the season 28 premier during the showcase reveal Nikki and Chantel reading the price of the showcases. The other 4/1/13 Model takeover Gwendolyn Amber Rob and Manuela rocked it hosting the show! Too bad Rachel was on baby leave at the time, i wonder what her hosting style is like, however i do like that they kept the practice that longest tenured model on set has first dibs on the mic which ment Gwendolyn was in charge that day, and her accent is great! hope the models host again soon!

Ooh, I would love to see that moment.
Do you remember when it happened and would you happen to have information or video on it?

Aired 11/22/93. I only have a VHS copy. I've searched youtube for it. It was my best and worst moment, because 18 year old me choked in the Showcase. (underbid by $20K and Bob laughed at me) hahaha

You can't go wrong with Marie and her bathroom emergency during Plinko (2007).

"You're only of by $16,772!" OMG WooWho can't believe you won that! Amazing! Poor Jeffrey though! And I'm not the biggest "Price" fan, but I will just say the May 16th, 2016 episode because you'll be able to see me on it. But seriously, I love this story from "This American Life" (and not because I'm into drugs at all, it's just hilarious). I remember watching the clip somewhere and it was edited down from what the guy tells. "One listener comes through with flying, psychedelic colors — telling us about the time he took mushrooms before appearing as a contestant on The Price is Right." www.thisamericanlife.org/radio-archives/episode/524/i-was-so-high?act=2#play

Does your shirt say anything on it? It would be easier to see where you are in the audience.
On a side note, it seems like Golden-Road is also getting more former contestants than usual. Too bad you can't publicize your alumnus status in advance due to the "Come on down!" tradition (I don't know what the policy actually is, but nobody has guaranteed themselves a spot in Contestant's Row, so it feels like it ought to remain a surprise).

Yeah, grey sweatshirt with UMSL in black or dark blue letters. And good question about being able to say if you were asked to come on down. I don't want to LET THE CAT OUT OF THE BAG w/ the woman I was sitting with who is active on twitter.

I only saw it on the 25th Anniversary special, but Bryan's decision to give up $5000 to win $10,000 (the then top prize) on Punch-A-Bunch. To this day, my mother still feels suspicious that it was rigged.
And then I just HAVE to mention a moment on an international version of Price! Down in Australia, there was this lady who was so overwhelmed to be a contestant that she could not stop crying. She makes it onto the stage to play Dice Game for a holiday. She ends up losing on one of the digits, but host Larry Edmur was kind enough to give her the trip anyway. That was a heart-warming moment.

One of my favorite Price moments was a playing of Any Number a few years ago where the contestant not only picked all four remaining car digits on his first four picks, but in order. I was floored.

What about the time on Aussie TPIR, when a girl named Nik, who was so overly excited, she couldn't stop lauging and squeaking like a Guinea pig?

I did enjoy seeing Craig Ferguson host the April Fool's Day episode back in 2014. I thought he did a good job of guest hosting it before he began hosting his own game show, Celebrity Name Game. It was nice to see Shadoe Stevens on camera as he was channeling his inner Rod Roddy and he used to be the announcer of Hollywood Squares.
