So lately ive been searching frantically around the internet for a device called Host your own jeopardy by a company called educational insights , where you hook it up to your tv and it has realistic graphics and real scoreboards and it looks amazing and I couldnt find it ANYWHERE except one place called coocooonzone on sale for $399 which i am not paying.....obvious reasons so does anybody know where it is on sale anywhere?
if i cant find this one then im fine with classroom jeopardy but i prefrer the home version because the questions on classroom are rediculously easy

If you're not willing to pay the price for HYOJ!, you're probably better off just making your own J! software in Powerpoint. It's not hard to do.

Also, you can use classroom J! and just make your own games. They just rebranded classroom J! as "HYOJ!" Same thing.

And Classroom Jeopardy is just as fun. (Played it in 3rd grade and had an absolute blast!)

It's a nice little system. Did you get the older version or the newer one (where you can make games on your computer along with images and video)? I used my school's classroom J! in middle school to host a Jeopardy tournament, ha.

I Got the older one, as far as i know you cant even use a computer and instead there is a lcd screen on the back of the scoreboard where you hook up a keyboard and write questions that way.

As far as I know it comes with -Scoreboard modeled after the sushi bar set - 3 buzzers - a keyboard - host controller - answer sheets - antenna - av cables - ac adapter for the scoreboard - a manual which I already downloaded a PDF for - CD ( not exactly sure what's on it but I think it's a tutorial video)
Anything missing?

You need cartridges to plug in to the back of the scoreboard. The games you create are stored on those. You also need the device called the "J! Link". You plug the cartridge into it, and plug it in to the computer. You use the game creator software (That's what's on the CD) to created full games, and save it to the cartridge.

Well this is weird. I don't know if this means anything but on page 4 of the manual it shows a WOF logo alongside the J! Logo which leads me to speculate that they originally planned a "Classroom Wheel of Fortune" to go along with CJ! Then again it could be nothing and I'm just making a fool of myself . I should recieve the game in a few days because there was a delay since I ordered it on Easter anyway when It comes I should have some pics

^ That very likely is just telling the user that Harry is the EP of both shows.
I always wanted them to make a Classroom WOF, but there's not much of a point. All you really need is your chalkboard or dry-erase board.

True. And WOF isn't very educational. Anyway, I have a problem. The game I bought doesn't come with classroom jeopardy link and, uh you really need that. Does anyone know somewhere I can get get it for under $100

^ Wheel isn't very educational? I disagree. For preK it's great for letter recognition, reading, language development, and counting. For older kids it's great for pattern recognition, spelling, vocabulary, grammar and math.
