I secretly wish they had made AROUND THE HOUSE the category for the BR.  haha they'd never do that because "house" was part of the puzzle. I guess they figure if you see the category, it'll ring a bell and make it easier to recognize in the puzzle. |

mellissa CONGRATS on your win and making tonight's show such a JOY to watch! LOVED your bird calls and enthusiasm, especially in response to the $10K and the SUV! Oh, and I think DINNER DUTY is a perfectly valid EVENT, particularly in large households that take turns cooking dinner. Some other random observations: - Fitting that Nicole from LA got TU1. - Still wondering in R3 why Nicole spun again. Which word did she draw a blank on? - Still wondering in R4 why David spun again. Better to have solved to narrow the gap and then try to overtake the lead in the next round, no? - I secretly wish they had made AROUND THE HOUSE the category for the BR. - Oh, and I'm speculating for various reasons whether I'm related to David. Thanks, Eugene! I'm pretty sure my bird call pales in comparison to your amazing spinning of the wheel. I have watched your clip almost daily... it CRACKS ME UP!!! hahahaha! Thanks for having my back on Dinner Duty! I had a TON of flack from my co-workers today. I took it all in great stride!  From what I heard, Nicole didn't know the first word in round 3. I think she just blanked. I think David was trying to WIN! Honestly, I think he wanted to take the lead. It was a game strategy that I probably would have done, too... it just didn't work in his favor (lucky for me!!) Around the House... that would have been AWESOME! EASY WIN!!! |

:faint: mellissa CONGRATS!!!! I'm so glad you needed a car and you're getting a cheaper one so you don't have to pay as much in taxes on it. (Seriously though, what's with these cheap cars?!...budget mode I know...) And yeah that bankrupt was painful. Oof. Thought she was going to solve. And then the guy's bankrupt also. "What's the worst that could happen..." UHHHHHHH Don't beat yourself up about DINNER DATE. Of course, it's obvious now, but I know you can blank when up there. And yeah, that no vowel sound doesn't help. But oh well, thems the rules? And you won enough already, right?! THANK YOU, KEVIN!!! I can totally tell budget mode was in full effect for my entire week. I certainly don't mind though, I'm just glad I got to play at all!  The bankrupts secured my lead... Nicole's was the worst. I felt bad for David AND Pat for his... I mean... the chances of that.... ugh!! I certainly did win enough... who needed a Dinner Date anyways? I've always preferred lunch! |

They used to be a lot more on the ball with the "vowels remaining" chirps. Seriously, that was bull. (I mean, not that it affected the outcome of the game, but I mean...c'mon. If it had cost you the game I would've brought it up during the break before the bonus round.) What more can I say, other than...congrats, Mellissa!
