It's actually gotten back on track since then! Season 30's edition only produced less than $200,000 in winnings (in fact, the sole Bonus Round winner that week won less than the biggest maingame winner), while season 31's edition was a shutout with tough puzzles.

My station aired the rerun at 4:30 AM this morning because of a College Football pregame preempting its usual time, and then the J! rerun is airing at the same time tomorrow morning. That's a first.  |
