^ Somebody sort of did that with me at my taping. The audience for shows 4-5 had New York Lottery sweepstakes winners, so some of them were sat behind the remaining contestants. As they were being seated before show 4, a page told them they couldn't interact with us. I was standing up about to sit down in the front row and one man said, seeing my name tag, "Good luck, Robert" as a joke right after the page's warning. I started to say thanks, but then hushed, gave him the cold shoulder, and sat down.

I had to give my own mother the cold shoulder at one point between shows when she walked down to the bottom of the audience stairs and waved at me. Good thing Emil was there to explain to her why I had to.  |
