Well, I haven't posted here in a while.
Pardon if this is a repost, I'm not sure. I feel like someone should have at least known about the existence of these by now, but maybe I'm just not looking hard enough. Either way, I'm not sure if any of you know about the Internet Archive, but they did a neat little series that essentially archived all of the TV stations during the week of 9/11. It's basically a big preservation of the master feed for all the major network channels during that week, from a few of the TV markets up north. If you're interested in 9/11, give it a look -- it's some pretty neat stuff. archive.org/details/911
In any case, there was also a bit of an unintended side effect from this -- because they saved nearly every single TV thing from that week, that also means anything that wasn't 9/11-related got roped into the mix. And, as it would happen, Wheel of Fortune is part of that! Here are all the episodes I was able to find:
9/10: archive.org/details/WJLA_20010910_230000_Wheel_of_Fortune (the only episode to air this week in most markets)
9/14: archive.org/details/WSBK_20010914_220000_Wheel_of_Fortune
9/15: archive.org/details/WSBK_20010915_230000_Wheel_of_Fortune (Saturday rerun, but I don't know this show as well as some of you so I couldn't tell you what the exact date of the original airing was)
9/17: archive.org/details/WSBK_20010917_220000_Wheel_of_Fortune
9/18: archive.org/details/WJLA_20010918_230000_Wheel_of_Fortune
These are from WSBK (Boston UPN) and WJLA (New York City ABC). They're a bit of a pain to navigate around since they split up everything into one-minute parts, but I thought it'd be cool to share these in any case because I've seen them surface nowhere else.
