The third era of Grecian Wheel will premiere on March 23. I can also tell you what may be on the Wheel based on the intro layout.
ΧΑΝΕΙΣ ΣΕΙΡΑ (Brown wedge): Lose Turn
ΜΠΑΛΑΝΤΕΡ (Lavender wedge): Wild (May or may not act the same way as the Wild Card)
2Η ΕΥΚΑΙΡΙΑ (Red wedge): 2nd Chance (May be Free Play but may also be Free Spin)
ΕΞΠΡΕΣ ΜΥΣΤΗΡΙΟ (Orange wedge): Express Mystery (May certainly be their own wedges; if so, this may very well be the first international version to use Express)
ΔΩΡΟ (Pink and light blue wedges): Gift (Very likely Prize wedges)
Now here's what I can make out from the promotion photos.
ΧΡΕΟΚΟΠΙΑ (Both black spaces): Failure: (Same as Bankrupt just like in their two previous eras; two will be present on the show)
? (Grey wedge): Certainly looks like a Mystery wedge; no face value present on it.
2Η ΕΥΚΑΙΡΙΑ (Orange wedge): Free Play or Free Spin as mentioned above.
ΔΩΡΟ (Light grey wedge): Gift as mentioned above.
ΧΑΝΕΙΣ ΣΕΙΡΑ (Blue wedge): Lose Turn as mentioned above.
I'm looking forward to seeing all this in action a week from Monday. I'm sorry to say that I still do not know what the set looks like as I saw no photos of that being surfaced.

I found out the time Grecian Wheel will be on. As I stated above, it will premiere on March 23, and will start at 6:50 in the evening their time. So that will likely be 11:50 in the morning New York time. Anyway, I found a really nice picture of their promo Wheel. The red wedge is 150 euros while the purple wedge is 10 euros. As for what's under the grey Mystery wedge as well as the light grey Gift wedge, I may not know until a week from tomorrow. www.star.gr/tv/PublishingImages/TR9%20(1900%20x%201267).jpg

I'm reminded of Spain's contestant area.

The scoring podiums remind me more of Romania's, albeit raised, if you ask me. BTW, StrangerCoug, you seem to be the only one interested in this apart from me.

I'm glad to hear that. Anyway, they probably just finished airing as I'm typing this, but at long last, here are some photos of the set. Clearly, the font is different from the intro and promotional layouts. It also looks like they also have a vertical Wheel of their own. It may be nowhere as colorful as its Turkish counterpart, but I'm still interesting in seeing how it works. At the same time, I have this feeling that it's for the Bonus Round. The rules of Turkey's vertical Wheel (where some cash value is offered and a percentage is determined by the Wheel) still make no sense months later. In fact, Turkey's version stopped making sense since Erbil became host. Anyway, here are the photos. Enjoy. www.zappit.gr/stories/Premiera-apopse-gia-ton-Troxo-ths-Tyxhs/37173

Oh yay, another "touchscreen" puzzleboard... Welcome to the 21st century. We don't know what a trilon is here. [/sarcasm] Like other boards of this type, it doesn't look that good close-up, but when viewed from further away it looks much better (like in the first picture). It's not headed to the art museum anytime soon, but it's not ugly in my opinion, either. Edited to add: Here's the premiere (I haven't seen it past the second tossup due to more important homework):

Yeah, great way to start a revival, huh? A goose-egg followed by one envelope short of the big prize, but my instincts were right about that vertical Wheel.
So, just like Egypt's version (as well as some European adaptions, such as Spain perhaps), the big prize is the car.
It's kind of odd that although the gameplay structure is very similar to ours (2 Toss-Ups, Round 1, Mystery Round, Express Round, a third Toss-Up, Round 4+, and the Bonus Round) the show is on for an hour, including commercials. It's clear that there is quite a bit of talk here, but at least they focus on the game for the most part. I'm just glad Erbil (host of Turkey's version from 1995-2010 for those who don't know who I'm talking about) didn't influence them all that much.
BTW, I gotta see the final spin land on zero euros sometime; I just want to know what happens when it's spun up for the Speed-Up.

It looks a bit slow for me... And the fact that I don't understand anything doesn't help at all.
About the Express... I think that I will suggest to adapt it when I return to La Ruleta, because I really love this wedge. Of course they won't replace the Bote because it's part of the essence of the game, but I think that it could be a great wedge to have in the first rounds, before adding the €1,000 wedge.

After the first puzzle things really picked up. I mean c'mon, 20 minutes to get through the first round was a bit ridiculous. They could easily reach four rounds no problem, probably 7 or 8 if they cut out some of the chatter. Overall, I think it's okay. It'll be interesting to see how it develops in the next few weeks.
As far as the set is concerned you can see a lot of different influences. I was getting US, Spain, and Turkish vibes from the set. I thought it looked really great. I'm was almost expecting the puzzleboard border and the wheel border to change colors to the contestant's podiums on their turn.

The only thing I didn't like about the set are the scoreboards, which are outside the podium. If they were like in the US version or the Spanish I think that I would like it much, because for me they don't appeal. What's more, It could be a difficulty to the contestants to spin the wheel.

Yeah, not to mention that they're rather bland. Something smaller would've been more sufficient and idk if it was just me but it seemed they were following the original rules where if you hit bankrupt you lose all your accumulated winnings. Unless the scores were just that pathetically low.

Unless the scores were just that pathetically low. The scores were pathetically low I haven't verified whether Bankrupt takes away your entire winnings or just your round score, but not much is lost to Bankrupt, and you have to solve to keep your winnings now.

Apparently there's no house minimum.
I'm confused with the Toss-Ups. What value do they have, if anything? Nothing appeared on the scoreboards after any of them. At the end, the green player (P3) had her total score plus 200 and she solved two Toss-Ups, but the blue player (P1) solved one and she didn't have any extra money from that.

Well, they sometimes don't show the scores until later on, Mario, but here's what I got after watching Tuesday's and tonight's episode and keeping score using Excel. The second Toss-Up has no value, but the first and third are each worth 100 euros. Top euro value is 200 euros for all rounds. Speaking of 100, that's what vowels cost, 100 euros. There is indeed no house minimum. No money is added to the Final Spin value. Unlike Poland's first era, you are allowed unlimited guesses within 10 seconds in the Bonus Round. As for the 2Η ΕΥΚΑΙΡΙΑ space is Free Spin, not Free Play. Calling a correct letter awards one Free Spin card. You also get 45 euros per occurrence. The ΜΠΑΛΑΝΤΕΡ space (Wild) and Mystery Wedges also have a face value of 45 euros. Flipping the correct Mystery Wedge awards 500 euros in spendable cash. Unlike our Mystery Wedges (where you have to give back the $1000 per letter to flip the wedge) you get to keep the 45 euros per letter if it's the 500 euros. The ΔΩΡΟ (Gift) space is not a Prize wedge. Instead, it's the Cavern space used on France's and Italy's versions. The limit is 600. You need to call a correct letter (10 euros apiece this time despite it being on a 45 space instead of the adjacent 10) to access the Cavern. Note how the numbers and Euro symbol at the top of this wedge are tilted a bit in case anyone wants to recreate the layouts and wedges. Nothing yet on the face value of their Express wedge or what the biggest and smallest cash prizes are in the Bonus Round. As of tonight, however, the biggest that has been landed on was a nice 4000 euros (Monday) while the smallest landed on was only 500 euros (Tuesday). For those curious about what happened tonight... Tonight had our first male winner of the current era. He won 1910 euros, 1000 of which was won in the Bonus Round (yep, he set a maingame record of 910, though it could've been higher had it not been for the Lose A Turn in Round 1). So far, the Bonus Round has not been lost since the premiere back on Monday.

Sorry about the double post, but the Gift wedge is indeed sitting on top of the space valued at 10. I got disoriented.
