Million Dollar loss aside, the gameplay was pretty good on this episode and I'm surprised that we still managed to get a full speed up in round 4. Both the yellow and red teams should be happy about their performance, but man that one hurt.
I managed to get it with picks, but that was not an easy puzzle. I thought they had a chance once he got Zucchini, but they couldn't seal the deal. Uggh, heartbreaking. So close on so many counts. A tiny bit more power and we'd be here talking about what could've been and not what actually did happen. This has been quite a road trip so far.

I watched the episode as well, and obviously when you're actually ON the stage and staring up at the board it's a MUCH different animal than it is at home. However I was able to get Baked Zucchini because that was the only word I could come up with since I knew Fried wasn't an option (R was gone before the 2nd round of letters popped up). Really heartbreaking to watch, but it was a pretty good episode all around from a monetary standpoint. Everybody ended up with cash by the end of things, and the SU round was 10,000,000 times better than the trainwreck we had Monday LOL Excited to see how the rest of the week plays out!

MarioGS Um, probably yes, considering how dumb today's journalists are.

I'm surprised that we still managed to get a full speed up in round 4. Me too. Probably due to all the Disney plugs.

Does this journalist seriously think Wheel offers two separate ways to win the million? Most casual viewers of the show would think that, because they don't explain how the wedge works at all, and haven't for years. They need to provide a refresher every now and then - at least when it's picked up, so people understand how it works. They explain the mystery wedges every time, the express wedge - everything BUT the MDW, so naturally people who watch the show infrequently think that is a possible way to win the million. I would too if I didn't know better.

Well, it would have helped if the person who uploaded the now-viral video did the whole segment including the shot of the family holding the MDW and Pat's "We've taken out the $100,000..." spiel, instead of starting it right after they drew the envelope... I could see that misleading some people into thinking the million is in the Bonus Wheel on any given episode. None of the articles going around discuss all the hoops they had to go through for that to happen, unlike whenever it's won.
By the way, considering how the stage is set up, imagine if the million had been won. All the parkgoers walking past would have noticed all the fanfare and confetti. People would be taking pictures and videos on their phone and posting them with "Just walked past somebody winning a million dollars on Wheel of Fortune here at Disney!". It probably would have been the most-spoiled million win ever.

Anyone else notice that the rest of the tapings this week have been "indoors"? Think after the trainwreck that was Monday's show they tightened things up and changed up everything for the rest of the week? Just my thought.

Man, just saw that stuff on Twitter because I don't have cable. Muh heart... Right now, the win/loss rate for the $1,000,000 BR is at 3/2.
Let's hope this goes for the better.
