Per Tony, a null cycle was cut near the end of Round 1 as soon as it came down to PUFFER.
Go to about 5:20 in the embedded video on page 1. Pat says, "There is a P. There you go." This one is much harder to notice since the spliced spins aren't that far off from Veronica's usual spin power.

Good Lord... this one took me all morning and afternoon to research... Repeats of HIGH and WAY as well as HIGHWAY below. Note that for WAY, I am not counting uses of AWAY, ALWAYS, or FENWAY (PARK). I have also made note of the few other Phrase puzzles beginning with " ON THE...", but those were all by far more sensible than this one. These words are way more common than I thought, and apparently effective since we're going on seven straight losses when either word is used. HIGH has been used every season since at least Season 20, and WAY since Season 21, except for Season 27 where it was not used. Something very interesting to note is that many separate uses of HIGH and WAY have been less than a month apart from each other. Any examples are bolded. Case in point, see HIGH? Expect WAY soon, and vice-versa, though both are out of the WAY (heh) for now. ✔ 10/04/89: HIGH AND DRY ✖ 03/16/90: HIGHER AND HIGHER
✔ 03/31/95: WAY OFF BASE

✖ 12/01/17: ON THE HIGHWAYHere are the category stats as of this episode: Only four categories >50%, and Fun & Games perfect record is broken, leaving no perfectly-played categories left. And a rough draft of a new stat I've been keeping track of: every month since Season 25 that had words repeated in Season 35 bonus puzzles. It shows that Season 30 is the most popular season for source material. Notably, 31 is not referenced nearly as much as 32-34, perhaps because of that season mostly being reran on GSN right now. The only month that has not been used yet is June 2010, and December 2007 only just now had its first with HIGH-AND-MIGHTY from that month - HIGH making its first appearing this Friday. Note that I am not counting "ON THE..." repeats in this. The most common months for repeats: May 2013 and December 2015.

Also... December 1 marks one whole year since the last aired $100,000 win. This is the third time in show history more than one year has elapsed between $100K (or $1M) wins. - Seasons 20-22: 05/21/2003 - 02/03/2005 - Seasons 32-33: 02/23/2015 - 04/28/2016 - Seasons 34-??: 12/01/2016 - ?

TU2 was oddly specific.
Both R4 and R5 seemed rather bonus-puzzle-y.
Interesting that yesterday had an intact SU null, but today they cut one out.
Calling the usually-trap H actually would've helped here.

^Concerning R4 and it possibly being a BR burn-off...
When was the last time a question mark (or any punctuation for that matter) appeared in the BR?

Only question mark I've ever seen in the BR is CAN I HAVE A HUG? on 9/28/12.

And naturally, the contestant wasted three of her picks with CFVI.
The last use of any punctuation was a hyphen in VACUUM-PACKED BAGS on 10/01/2015. Methinks the show is adding a new "rule" to its ever-growing list of puzzle criteria (no punctuation in the Bonus Round because it's "too easy").
Last apostrophe: DON'T QUIBBLE on 05/22/2014.
Last ampersand: PRIDE & JOY on 02/03/2012.

Sucks to see another contestant end up with the pity $1,000 thanks in part to bad luck on the wheel. As for the BR puzzle, it was just another tricky one there.
